Let me start by saying that I have stayed here several times.... It's one of those places that definitely needs some work on the outside but the rooms were always clean and spacious. Nice jacuzzi tub and fireplace. However apparently they are under new management and are renovating... That being said the room was filthy... The jacuzzi had hair in it and the place was just covered in stickiness everywhere... Big pile of grout on bathroom floor tiles lifting up. They did come and clean a bit after we complained. I actually wiped down the whole tub before filling it. Turned on jets and got in.. The drain is obviously defective... Water leaked out so fast and water was going everywhere. We called the number for questions that is on the door and left a message for management on duty and never heard back from them. I definitely will not be back, Sad because my Granddaughters loved coming here every summer.
For those searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in the scenic White Mountains region of Lincoln, New Hampshire, The Inn of Lincoln presents itself as a practical and often budget-friendly option. The environment surrounding The Inn of Lincoln is undeniably one of its key advantages. Positioned directly on US-3, the hotel provides excellent access to the myriad attractions of the White Mountains. Guests are just a short drive from popular destinations such as Loon Mountain, the enchanting Ice Castles (in winter), Franconia Notch State Park, and various family-friendly activity centers. The immediate surroundings offer convenient access to dining establishments and other essential services in Lincoln, making it easy for guests to enjoy local cuisine or pick up supplies without extensive travel. While the exterior might indicate a property that "needs some work," as one long-term customer noted, its prime location for accessing regional adventures remains a significant draw.
The services at The Inn of Lincoln are often characterized by a personal, family-run touch. One glowing review highlights the exceptional kindness of the family running the place, even going so far as to upgrade a family to a larger room to ensure comfort when they noticed an extra child. This level of personalized care and willingness to accommodate guest needs can create a very positive and welcoming atmosphere. While some guests have experienced issues like cleanliness concerns during renovation periods or unaddressed maintenance requests, the sentiment from others suggests that the management strives to provide a satisfactory stay. The willingness to open the pool and hot tub specifically for guests, even when locked, demonstrates a commitment to guest enjoyment. The front desk is typically available to assist with inquiries, though response times for specific issues, especially during renovations, might vary.
The features of The Inn of Lincoln are designed to offer comfort and entertainment, particularly for families. Many rooms are noted for being "clean and spacious," with some offering enticing amenities such as jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces. These in-room features provide a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring or skiing, adding a touch of indulgence to a value-focused stay. The presence of an indoor pool and hot tub is a significant draw, especially for families with children, as these facilities offer year-round recreation. The delight of having the pool and hot tub "all to ourselves" due to potentially lower occupancy compared to larger resorts is a distinct advantage mentioned by a satisfied guest, making for a more private and enjoyable experience.
While the hotel's amenities are generally appreciated, it is crucial to present an objective overview. One customer's recent experience during a renovation period highlighted significant cleanliness issues, including hair in the jacuzzi, stickiness, and construction debris like grout, along with a defective drain. This suggests that while renovations are underway, there might be inconsistencies in guest experience depending on the specific room and the phase of renovation. The industrial-style soap dispensers, often seen in more basic accommodations, indicate a focus on practicality over luxury toiletries, which might be a point of consideration for some guests.
The Inn of Lincoln's unique selling proposition often revolves around its excellent value for money. Guests repeatedly emphasize the significant savings compared to "overpriced, over-crowded places" in the area, particularly when visiting for activities like skiing at Loon Mountain. This cost-effectiveness allows families and travelers to enjoy the White Mountains without breaking the bank, making it an attractive alternative to more expensive resorts. The ability to save money on accommodation while still having access to desirable features like a pool and a jacuzzi tub is a strong incentive for many repeat visitors.
Promotional information for The Inn of Lincoln would likely focus on its position as a "new spot" for value-conscious travelers to the White Mountains. It would highlight the spacious rooms, some with special amenities like jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces, and the convenience of an indoor pool. The family-run aspect and the personal service that can come with it are also key selling points. The hotel's ongoing renovations could be presented as an effort to enhance guest comfort, with an emphasis on the upgraded cottages or rooms. For those planning a ski trip to Loon Mountain or a visit to the Ice Castles, the hotel's affordability and accessibility would be strongly promoted as a smart choice. While past negative experiences during renovation phases are noted, the overall message to potential guests is that The Inn of Lincoln provides a comfortable and enjoyable stay at a competitive price, allowing visitors to maximize their experience of the stunning New Hampshire landscape and its attractions.

May 26, 2019 · Barbara NelsonIm so glad we stayed here. This place is run by family who was so nice to us. They seen we had an extra kid with us so they upgraded me to a bigger room so everybody could sleep comfortably. The room also had a jacuzzi which of course the the kids loved. The pool was locked but they had no problem opening it up for us several times. We had the pool and hot tub all to ourselves which was Awesome! Why would anybody want to stay at the over priced, over crowded places when this place is right here. We go skiing at Loon every year and usually spend huge money on expensive rooms-Never again. This is our new spot. We saved so much money and absolutely loved it here. Do yourself a favor and get a room here.
Jan 14, 2021 · David KilduffI stayed here during a fall foliage trip. They were doing remodeling at the time. Our room wasn't done yet but it didn't matter. It had 2 huge rooms with a kitchenette. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub for two which was really relaxing. The bedroom had a gas fireplace which was nice. It's a old school place that has a cool looking front area. If you want clean and comfortable at a amazing price for what you get, this is the place. It's less then 2 minutes from the The Flume Gorge and not where all the traffic is in town.
Nov 30, 2019 · Kenneth JohnsonNice owners, accommodating. Great location, close to all the attractions & best food & water fun in the area. Pool & hot tub were wonderful. I loved my room for the price, comfy beds, fireplace, & whirlpool tub. Overall great value. Looks like they're undergoing some updates throughout the property. It didn't bother me so much, interested in seeing what this place could be once they are done. A more appealing breakfast would give this place 5 stars!
Jul 22, 2019 · Bobby CincottaWhile the room was clean and the beds relatively comfortable, our room was not serviced once in the three days we stayed. There were not enough towels, no refills on shampoo or conditioner, our trash was never emptied, the pool area needed some serious updates and the place in general could use some updates. If you stay, bring your own toiletries, towels and prepare to keep your room in order yourself.
