For our choice of a hotel in New Orleans, my family didn’t want the noise of the French Quarter. We were willing to either walk along Canal Street, drive our rented car into the French Quarter, or Uber into our destination. Hotel Jung is far enough from the French Quarter but not too far from Canal, a main road into the French Quarter. The impressive hotel lobby was built using lots of marble, giving the entrance the look of luxury. Some may say marble lacks character but to me, it’s a clean look and reflects strength and luxury. The lot across the street is a pay lot for hotel guests. The elevators are fast and the hallways look good and do not have odors that some hotel lobbies have unfortunately. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Good pillows are also provided. The roof pool looks great.

Jun 17, 2025 · Stew CohenBeds were not very comfortable, fridge did not work and tv kept losing signal. Also wait time for service in bar and cafe area is super long. But overall staff is very kind, helpful and the hotel was clean and well kept overall. Rooftop Pool area is great with views of the whole city and lots of seating and towels with a bar. Great location with a cable car right in front to get you around town with $3 for a whole day. So if you are looking for decent price and stay with great location of it all this hotel is good for you.
Apr 29, 2025 · Evelyn CantuThis place was great! Our room was huge and wonderfully light, but not wonderfully lit. The storage space (dresser) left a bit to be desired, but really, those are about my only complaints and they are pretty minnor. 2 women for a wedding, plenty of room to dress and shower! Short walk down canal to the french quarter. Great rooftop pool. T he staff, particularly housekeeping were lovely. The price was right.
May 16, 2025 · Ellen LyngMy stay at the Jung Hotel was absolutely perfect! From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and seamless. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed. One of the elevators was out of service during my stay, but it didn’t interfere with anything at all. Everything still ran efficiently, and I had no issues getting around. Unlike some other hotels in the area, I found the pricing to be very reasonable for the quality of the stay. Would I stay here again? Without a doubt! The Jung Hotel exceeded my expectations, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in New Orleans.
Feb 26, 2025 · Jacquelyn HilliardStayed here for a work trip in early February. The Jung Hotel is walking distance to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. A longer walk gets you to the SuperDome, the river walk and the casino. Great location although it can feel a little sketchy transiting between these spots. Nothing worse than any other large city. The room was large, but showing signs of wear. The cleanliness was passable but not exceptional. For example soap scum in the showers. Towels were mismatched. The hotel common spaces (elevators and hallways) need a refresh. Lots of scratches and dings. The rooftop pool would be amazing in the heat of summer. The hotel staff were always pleasant and helpful. If you get a “good” rate I would recommend staying here. However if you have a keen eye for detail or high standards there may be better options for you.
