This place gives you the best value for your money. We got a one bedroom suite that offered 2 big bathrooms! The pullout sofa was more comfortable than expected. You get very spacious rooms compared to other hotels in New York. The location is hard to beat...2 blocks from Central Park and just far enough away from the Times Square zoo (tip: Times Square is a mad-house and I'd avoid it after seeing it once). The best thing about The Manhattan Club is the service. Everybody was incredibly friendly and helpful. You'll definitely notice the warmth from the bellhops to the front desk to the maids. And most of these folks have been working here a long time which shows there is a lot of job satisfaction and good management. Make sure to tip generously because they really deserve it.

Mar 30, 2025 · Phil MelitoAmazing location for a hotel. Three blocks from Central Park, a short walk to Times Square, Carnegie Hall is kitty corner, tons of different eateries from breakfast, lunch or dinner and you can get anywhere in the city in a short distance by going on the subway nearby. The service was top notch. Every bellman, concierge and housekeeper was extremely nice and welcoming. Felt like any issue you had could be taken care of right away. The main issue was the rooms. We stayed in the Penthouse (in two separate rooms as we had to move mid-stay because of an issue with the faucet in our kitchenette). They were kind enough to upgrade us to a nicer suite with an amazing view of the city and Times Square. However, the room had a constant banging noise throughout the day and night. It seemed to be the elevator from an adjacent hotel or from the freight elevator below us. We were not quite sure but we just had to live through it. We also noticed the rooms were extremely warm. The air conditioner did not work in our second suite, but in our first we had two in-window A/C units that kept the room at a reasonable temperature. In the second room it was a much different story. We opened the windows as wide as they could go and it was still unbearable. If you run hot like I do, I would recommend asking for a room with an in-window ac unit. The housekeeping was great and turned the beds daily. They made our daughters pull-out bed every day and set it up in a cute way that she loved coming back to after a full day in the city.
Mar 25, 2025 · Kohl HoughtalingThis is a very nice well-maintained hotel in the heart of the city. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and well guided by the staff. Our first night we went up to the lounge and had wonderful cocktails for some reason we ended up on the service elevator when we first got there, which kind of threw me off, but the other elevators were very nice. We had one issue where housekeeping left a pile of towels in the floor when cleaning the room but outside of that it was a fantastic experience. I would definitely stay here again. I got a wonderful rate and it’s so close to everything. There are several transit stops within walking distance. There are tons of restaurants and bars. You can even walk to Times Square. I highly recommend the Manhattan club hotel tell Jerry I sent you!
Mar 11, 2025 · MJ WorldwideThe staff was extremely pleasant and kind joel, john, and ismael were very helpful they brought my bags to my room, opened doors for me, made sure i got in my ubers safely. Apr 04, 2025 · Rose NjorogeI stayed here for two nights. I would not stay again. My primary complaint is that guests cannot adjust the room temperature. It’s an old building/hotel and has central heating. My room was hot. The only option was to open the window. Thankfully, I had a courtyard room. Opening the window made the room more noisy, but not as bad as if on the street side. However, random food smells wafted into the room from nearby vents; which was unpleasant. The interior finishes were otherwise tired. It was mostly clean, but with worn carpet and some mold build up in the bathroom. The sink drain didn’t work. I had to pull it all the way out of the sink to get it to drain, which was gross. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly. They brought a fan to give the room some air flow. The bed was comfortable.
