I was nervous to stay in NYC because I’m not a city person and pretty sensitive to noise when I’m sleeping. But my son wanted to go to NYC for his tenth birthday, and since he also loves Japan, we decided to stay here. I cannot say enough good things about the Kitano. It’s honestly one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in and I can’t wait to go back. The service was impeccable, and the room was cozy and most of all - QUIET. We never even heard other people opening and closing doors, which is usually an annoying thing in any hotel. The noise from the street was nonexistent, toilet seats were heated, towels were heated. Our room was also so spacious for NYC, and we even had a separate shower and bath, which was awesome when traveling with two kids. Love love loved it here, and I loved having Japanese breakfast in the room too!

Mar 05, 2025 · Christina CarrellHave not experienced such a warm welcome in any other hotel. The minute I was checked in everyone seemed to know me by name and everyone did their very best to ensure that my stay will be a pleasant one. The room was spacious, spotless and quiet. There were many interesting books and pieces of art to discover in the lobby area and the Roof at 66 Park was the perfect choice for the evening drinks.
Jan 24, 2025 · Toni LopezThis hotel was excellent! The customer service is friendly, accommodating, and quick. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The beds are cozy and the bathrooms have toilet seats that are warm! Lol if that's something you are looking for! They have a rooftop bar, a Japanese restaurant, a cafe where you can get breakfast, and a store to buy chocolate. It’s located by Grand Central Station with so many things to do near by! I definitely recommend this hotel and will be visiting again!
Dec 08, 2024 · Laura WilliamsI loved this hotel! I was looking for a spacious room to accommodate three adults. I decided on the Deluxe Room with two double beds (Premier). The room was as pictured. There was a floor length mirror by the door. There was another near floor length mirror outside of the bathroom. We had lots of windows to enjoy the NYC views. The rooftop balcony provided a great skyline view. The only con is there is no refrigerator or microwave in the room. I've never stayed in a hotel with no refrigerator so I didn't notice that that wasn't included in the amenities. I did inquire about a microwave prior to my stay and was told I could rent a microwave for a small daily fee which I was happy to hear. Staff was very kind and helpful! I'd recommend this hotel to anyone!
Oct 12, 2024 · Eboni KHow could I forget to mention the breakfast buffet. The dining area is very clean and orderly. The staff are polite and accommodating. Fresh fruit, chicken sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, waffles, and fried potatoes...mmmm. Fresh hot coffee along with your choice of orange or grapefruit juice. I can't wait to go back.. just for the buffet.
