Pestana Park Avenue

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York, it's location was perfect being only a five minute walk from Grand Central Station, yet the rooms were still nice and peaceful. The complimentary breakfast is great, offering a range of different bagels (inc. a Gluten and Dairy Free), spreads, pastries, tea and coffee, as well as iced water. The room looked just like it did online and we had everything we needed for our stay. The team at reception were all lovely, they made such an effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We were given roses and chocolates on International Women's Day and greeted with genuine kindness and warmth when we returned to Pestana after exploring outside the city for a couple of nights. They made our stay feel special, so thank you!

Stayed in the Pestana Park Ave for nearly a week and I can't recommend it enough. The staff are very warm, friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, so close to the grand central station so handy for the airport and subways to all parts of New York. There's a pub and breakfast spot right next to it on the corner. They also offer bagels and pastries in the hotel every morning. The rooms are a good size for New York and the bathrooms are lovely, really good showers. The rooms are cleaned everyday and the whole place is spotless. On our last day the staff kindly let us check out late as our flight wasn't until the evening. Really really recommend this hotel, I will be back!

My partner and I have just spent a week at the hotel and have had the best time! Ruan and the rest of the team at Pestana were very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. Clean room, great amenities, and perfect central location in midtown - a 5 min walk to grand central. As other reviews have said, you may not have the best view of the city (there are plenty of experiences that give you amazing views across NYC), however it was perfect for first-timers in NYC as a central point to explore from. Would definitely stay again!

I had an amazing experience at Pestana Park Avenue New York! The staff treated us like family, incredibly warm, kind, and solution-oriented. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was exceptional. The hotel itself is incredibly clean, quiet, and the beds are super comfortable! A lovely surprise was arranged for my daughter’s birthday, which made her feel so special. Most importantly, as a Black man, I am often treated differently because of my appearance, but at this hotel, I experienced the exact opposite— I was treated like family. I can’t thank the staff enough for making our stay so memorable. Highly recommended!

Not only were they incredibly professional, but their local recommendations were top-notch! The rooms were perfect! comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The attention to detail and overall cleanliness were definitely appreciated. Pestana Park Avenue has become our go-to hotel in NYC, and we will absolutely be returning! Can’t wait to be back and hope to see Ray and Daniela again for another fantastic experience.
