When we arrived the hotel had a great entrance for incoming visitors. Everything appeared very safe and comfortable when we arrived. My only input would be to have some type of luggage dolly, or offer an assist as it was very difficult with 4 bags, and I had a broken hand. Other than that it was seamless. Once in, we were greeted by a very friendly lady who would be our host. She had a lovely gift bag for me which was an unexpected surprise. We were able to enjoy the treats of local snacks as we finally got settled down into our room. The hotel room had two beds, perfect for my mother and I traveling together! We both slept well that evening and woke early to get ready for our cruise. We packed up ready to leave the Quisby. But not before grabbing their famous breakfast. It’s nothing to sneeze about either. I’m not a huge fan of hotel breakfast bars but if you’re in Nola, this is your stop! I’ll be right here too

Such a cool spot! The premises was very clean and orderly. Great breakfast, comfortable and cozy rooms (great water pressure in the showers and super clean and comfortable beds). Marcel was a great help at the front desk and gave wonderful recommendations for the best local spots and made us feel welcome. Stay here- you get way more than you pay for! Great breakfast and 24/7 bar too.

Funny, I just read a review from 2 months ago and same thing happened to us at the same time! Got there and was given a dirty slept in room. No one helped, in fact they said there was nothing wrong with it, I was so frustrated with the lack of help I left and went to a different hotel.. management is the worst here. Who in their right mind would stay in that? I literally walked in and walked out! Absolutely ridiculous and refused refund..been dealing with this for months now. Also, there was brown stuff in the dirty towels on floor looked like poop.. come on… that’s gross

Assistant manger was very cool but the gentleman who took his shift was a bit rude and even kept my girl outside didn’t open the door for her but rather asked me if I had her key. I had to walk over and open the door for her. Total buzz kill (seriously night and day difference) hanging at the bar from the good time we were having. Wish the assistant manger had cloned himself before he had to clock out. we stopped buying drinks and left. Oh yeah my girl was being polite and said hello to him and he just ignored her…. So avoid the bar when the assistant manager is not there! In response to the hotel staff response it is totally understandable on why the security measure is put in place but I think what you are overlooking. Is that a very young beautiful female is at the door trying to get inside. As you stated guess with keys, so what if this was a single female traveling and she was coming to check in? obviously, she has no keys or it could be the common mistake as was in this situation where she forgot to take the key with her outside. I think what was also overlooked is that another guest of the hotel had to come to the door to open it or her so the guest which is me did someone else’s job! That’s someone else his job was behind the check-in desk. In terms of safety, all he had to do was walk over to the glass to find out who she was didn’t have to open it just to confirm who she is that would’ve provided security not only for the employee, but most importantly all the guest, but instead another guest of the hotel did his job so if we’re talking about security, let’s look at it this way it was the employee’s job to have thought about security and stop the guest from even opening the door and taking charge to go see what this is all about instead of someone else doing his job! A female standing outside trying to get in and what sounds like from your response and not so safe area so can you imagine as she’s waiting for someone to open the door how it becomes unsafe for her! Please take note of this single Travelers, especially single female Travelers in this particular matter. What we did expect was a response that we have consulted with the employee to make sure something like this never happens again put in place a plan that makes sense as far as for safety and making sure that the guest of this place are taken care of because it sounds like if you forgot your card you were just stuck out for the night And not allowed in nor did you address how rude your employee was on how he was not even friendly at all to her just looked past her as your response was centered around security. That makes me wonder if this allows this individual to continue the same attitude towards other guest without any reprimand.

Initially when we checked in they gave us a dirty room that housekeeping hadn’t even cleaned yet. I have never had that happen to me to that extent. The bed had been laid in by the previous guest and items were all over the floor. When we first went back down to the office to report the condition of the room , they initially said they had no rooms available but found one shortly after that , we had also paid a day in advance before arrival. Everything was going good until my husband and I used a water cooler that was sitting in the lobby when looking for water, it was another water cooler with complimentary Gatorade in the lobby that was complimentary so it caused some confusion . Evidently the one I used had alcoholic drink in it and the manager confronted us later when coming back from an outside lunch hours later , after an employee of the hotel had originally said don’t worry about it when we tried to leave the drink there earlier due to it not being any other information about the cost, it appeared to be complementary to hotel guest. I asked for the manager after being confronted so rudely , she said she was the manager and her name was Shayyy and she said began to say things like running the camera back, I will write my name on a card when I didn’t even ask her all of that , and she stated she has 3,000 reviews one don’t matter , all things were going great on our trip besides this unnecessary mishandled understanding and how she talked to us, I hate to see her talk to employees and other guest . She needs customer service training.
