The hotel was very nice and the rooms were great. Very clean and very well maintained. I do have to say though I've been all over the world and have stayed in hundreds of hotels and sat down in hundreds of bars and never have I had a better bartender than Joel. He was a delight to have a conversation with. He gave us very good info on where to go and find things around New Orleans and honestly made our trip to the city much more enjoyable. Our last night in the city we actually decided to cut it short so we could come back to the hotel and have drinks made by Joel. Also turned me on to my new favorite drink. I do not know what this man is paid but he needs a raise. Your establishment should treasure a gem like this person. We will be staying at the Rubenstein for the rest of our visits to your wonderful city and look forward to seeing Joel when we return to the hotel soon.

Jun 09, 2025 · Wooter KinI can’t put into words how amazing this place was!! Joel the bartender down stairs in the lobby is incredible! An amazing person who will always great you with a smile and will fill you in on places to go and sights to see!! Couldn’t have asked for a better bartender! The staff at the hotel was also amazing! The rooms are incredible!! 10/10 recommend staying here!!
Jun 09, 2025 · Dr JerkyPrime location, HUGE rooms (like it felt cavernous), chic aesthetic. Valet parking for $50 and it’s kind of a hassle but I appreciate the service. The bartender wasn’t there when he was supposed to be so they missed our business there, we would have loved to have a couple drinks in the cool (albeit empty) bar area. The fellow at check-in was kinda polite but not very engaged. We had an interior room and heard no street noise.
May 07, 2025 · Ashley ErinI chose Rubenstein Hotel for its location, lower price, and 4-star reviews, but had some issues. I found a termite in my bed and had to switch rooms. The new room had several minor issues: a backwards bathroom faucet (cold on left and hot on right), non-working lamp and phone, some faulty outlets, and a nonfunctional thermostat. They sent an exterminator the next morning and maintenance to fix the power issues. But one morning there was no one at the front desk (security said no one showed up to work) so guests could not check in, and breakfast availability was not reliable. The hotel manager worked also as the bartender. It is a good price for the location and I ended up staying for the duration of my trip though I had the choice to cancel a part of my reservation. They gave me a partial discount for just the first night of my trip. I probably wouldn’t book here again.
Jun 07, 2025 · Sae JangHotel was a perfect location! Across the street from the French Quarter. The staff was super friendly, and if you wake up early enough, there is free coffee, cereal, muffins, and yogurt. Rooms were modernized and comfortable. You have plenty of outlets. Bed was super comfy with four pillows. I'd rate this higher if I could!
