We had a great time during our stay, all of the staff were very kind. The doorman/valet, Kendrick, was the best. He was extremely helpful, professional, and so nice every time we saw him. He gave us ideas of places to eat, and made it feel like we were coming home every time we were coming back to the hotel. Housekeeping supervisor, Johnathan, was also amazing. He came up to help us with fresh sheets and a smile. It’s great to have dealt with two people who seem to completely enjoy what they do. The hotel gets 5 stars, but Kendrick and Johnathan were 10s across the board! Edit to add: Our last night we decided to head up to the rooftop bar, Vanessa was amazing. Such a sweetheart and a joy to talk to!

As one guest enthusiastically put it, "You can catch the street car right in front of the hotel for $1.25 or a $6 day pass and that will get you to anywhere you want to go." This makes exploring New Orleans without a car incredibly convenient.
For those traveling by car, the hotel offers valet parking for $39-$59 per night, or self-parking for around $40 per night (prices can vary, so it's always best to confirm directly with the hotel). There's also an option for "off-site daily parking" for approximately $20. While parking can be a cost, the convenience of having options right at the hotel or very nearby is a plus in a busy city like New Orleans.

May 09, 2025 · Carlena DawkinsThe bathroom needs a little more attention but we enjoyed our stay. From the moment of check in the vibes were great and continued our whole stay. The valet parking men, Joe and Kendrick made me feel safe about leaving my SUV in their care. It didn't even take them a long time to bring it around. All of the staff we encountered were pleasant and up beat. I will definitely come back to this hotel. Make sure you go up to the 14th floor and check out the roof top bars view. Book your next visit at Town Place Suites 😁
Apr 18, 2025 · Rhoda PruittMy overall experience was good. However, my room had some issues. Upon entering the room, the bathroom was off the right. There was a strong urine smell. And I could tell that it was not fully deep cleaned. None of the appliances in the kitchen worked. And there were roaches climbing on the side of one of the queen size beds. I noticed that the mattress had huge stains on the sides of the mattress. As if someone spilled something or vomit. The sheets and comforters had yellow and dark stains as well. The room darkening blind did not open. Parking was down the street. So everytime we had to leave we had to walk about a block away.
Jun 08, 2025 · Chelsea GravelyThe hotel is nice with velvet parking. I enjoyed the stay. My favorite thing is the rooftop bar & it’s extremely close to the Bourbon Street area literally a 5 minute walk. My only cons are; the only food they have is breakfast. I think if you have a rooftop bar it should have some type of food along with it even if it’s just finger food. The website showed on Saturday & Sunday they have food trucks that you can order from no food truck in sight. Rooms are nice but can definitely have more attention we had strings of hair in the room as well as strings of hair hanging from the fire sprinkler system 😂 wonder how that got up there. The area is a little sketchy but what isn’t in the French Quarters! Definitely would’ve been 5 stars if they had food! Oh & no onsite parking.
May 26, 2025 · Justin MarshallAbsolutely loved this hotel. My wife and I will most definitely stay here again. They really make you feel like family and at home. From the valet service to the front desk clerk to the maintenance man. The room was very spacious, lobby was very picture ready, super big plus that it's on Canal Street and not far from Bourbon Street.
