Hands down the very best Hilton property between NYC and Orlando. We had almost given up On Hilton due to the last few in Florida and NC being so bad. This was a breath of fresh air. The entire staff was super nice and helpful. The hotel was immaculate clean as well. This hotel is settled just in downtown away from most of the traffic but close enough to walk to train stations and dining. The price is excellent too.

Beyond hosting guests, consider the times when you, as a local, might need a hotel. Perhaps you're undergoing a home renovation and need temporary, clean, and comfortable lodging. Or maybe you're planning a local "staycation" to enjoy D.C. from a different perspective, wanting to explore a new neighborhood or simply get away for a night or two without the hassle of long-distance travel. The "excellent price" mentioned by some guests is another strong factor for locals. In D.C.'s often expensive hotel market, finding a property that offers good value in a desirable location is a definite advantage. While opinions on aspects like bed firmness and soundproofing can vary widely from person to person (and are important considerations to weigh, especially if you're sensitive to noise), the consistent praise for the staff's kindness and the hotel's cleanliness points to a well-managed operation focused on core hospitality. Hands down the worst hotel ever. Beds were too firm to the point that my body has been literally aching all week from the crap sleep. Awkward room layouts and super outdated furniture. 2/3’s of the staff seemed to hate their jobs and weren’t very helpful (probably just not paid enough). But the worst of alll? The fact that the hotel is very poorly sound proofed and there’s an open air bar right next to the property. Playing white noise on Spotify at max volume and wearing ear plugs still wasn’t enough to tune out the bar noise. And the raucous kept going on ALL NIGHT LONG. This place truly couldn’t pay me enough to stay there again (the only good thing the West End has going for itself is the location). Also 100% wouldn’t doubt it if this place paid for fake positive reviews because there’s no way people actually enjoyed this dump... Run as fast as you can.

I had a tidy room at this property for a work trip. I would stay here again. On this particular trip, the power went out for a several block radius due to an underground fire. The utility spent nearly 48 hours working around the clock to get power restored, but it did mean I ended up having to leave this property. To that end, the staff working at this property were all delightful in accommodating my move and refunding my remaining nights. I'm beyond impressed by the grace they handled everything with despite getting badgered by customers every 30 seconds about when the power would be back on. They were class acts the entire time. Great people and the location was good for the business I needed to attend to.

My colleague stayed at this hotel in late April. After checkout, a $300 charge was made for alleged microwave damage. We have repeatedly requested a clear incident report and cost breakdown, but the hotel has not responded at all. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

I just left. Although, I was only there for one night, my experience was wonderful. I found a little gem hotel. Everything is around you. The best part of my stay was, they are so nice. Also, I ordered uberEats and they allow delivery to my room. That’s a game changer. 🙌🏽 Thank you so much. My only small complaint was the restaurant/bar downstairs. The noise travels all the way to 2nd floor. And my room was above the restaurants patio. But I will not hold that against them. I went to bed early because I had to fly the next day. Other than that, everything was exceptional. Oh, I almost forgot. They have a microwave and a fridge 😍 Sometimes, I want to bring left over, but I end up just wasting food because most hotels don’t have microwave or fridge. That’s a huge plus! Thank you!
