Ive used Wonder several times for client bookings - and have received multiple compliments form the clients. These lofts are an absolute gem! They are size-able with modern and beautiful decor. The street is quiet, and there are a couple great dining options nearby. This is the ONLY place like this in Honesdale. I recommend to solo travelers looking to stretch out or to small groups traveling together.

Situated at 560 Main St Suite A, right in the heart of downtown Honesdale, Wonder offers a unique lodging experience unlike any other in the area. This introduction will provide a detailed overview of the environment, services, features, and key considerations for booking a stay at Wonder Honesdale, based on available information and customer insights.
Wonder Honesdale is strategically located on Main Street, placing guests in the midst of Honesdale's lively downtown. The lofts are part of a building that houses active businesses on the first floor, specifically a vibrant restaurant/bar and a bakery. This location provides immediate access to dining and a dynamic urban atmosphere. While the street itself is described as quiet, the proximity to these ground-floor establishments means guests should anticipate an elevated level of activity and noise, particularly during business hours and into the evening. The building's design features high ceilings, contributing to a sense of spaciousness within the lofts. This urban environment is ideal for travelers who enjoy being in the thick of local life, with dining and entertainment options just steps away.
Wonder Honesdale streamlines the booking process, making it a preferred choice for client bookings, as noted by recurring users. While specific details on check-in/check-out procedures aren't explicitly provided, the modern nature of the lofts suggests a contemporary approach, likely involving self-check-in to ensure flexibility. The phone numbers provided, (570) 800-2224 and +1 570-800-2224, indicate readily available contact for guest inquiries and support. The focus on providing a comfortable and well-equipped space means guests can expect essential amenities. The lofts are regularly cleaned, ensuring a very clean environment for guests upon arrival. While not explicitly stated, it's reasonable to assume standard services like Wi-Fi are provided, given the modern nature of the accommodation and the needs of today's travelers, especially those on business trips. The availability of kitchen essentials also points to a self-service model, catering to guests who prefer to prepare their own meals.
Wonder Honesdale's lofts are an absolute gem, known for their sizable layouts and modern, beautiful decor. Each loft boasts high ceilings, new furniture, and contemporary appliances, creating an appealing and comfortable living space. The kitchens are nearly fully stocked, providing what's needed to cook meals, including a large refrigerator, microwave, and typically two pots and some baking trays. This makes the lofts suitable for longer stays or for guests who prefer to dine in. The beds are described as very comfortable, ensuring a good night's rest, assuming noise levels are manageable. The lofts are designed to accommodate various travelers, from solo individuals looking to stretch out to small groups traveling together. The specific configurations of lofts, such as 2A, 2B, and 2C, are highlighted as being directly above the restaurant and bakery, a crucial detail for managing expectations regarding noise. The presence of a separate bedroom, distinct from common areas, allows for a more private sleeping experience. The overall aesthetic is one of clean, modern, and functional design, providing a stylish base for exploring Honesdale.
Wonder Honesdale truly is the "ONLY place like this in Honesdale," offering a unique and contemporary alternative to traditional hotel stays. It is highly recommended for solo travelers seeking ample space or for small groups desiring a communal yet private lodging option. The proximity to excellent dining options nearby, such as the restaurant and bakery downstairs, adds significant convenience and flavor to any stay. For guests planning to book through "Hotels Near Of Me," it's vital to be aware of the vibrant atmosphere that comes with the downtown location. A clear paragraph in the rental agreement explicitly states that guests should anticipate "elevated noise levels" from the restaurant and bakery, which operate into the evening and night. This includes potential for "fragrances" from the businesses and the sounds of employees, guests, and clientele. Reviews specifically mention loud noises from the bar area, including banging doors, stomping feet, loud conversations, banging plates, and music, sometimes extending well into the night. While the comfortable beds and amazing decor are consistently praised, potential guests, especially those on business trips needing uninterrupted sleep, should be prepared for significant noise. The minimum stay is typically two nights, which is an important booking consideration. Therefore, Wonder Honesdale is best suited for those who appreciate a lively, urban environment and are willing to trade absolute quiet for the convenience and energy of being in the heart of Honesdale's downtown. Earplugs are highly recommended for light sleepers. Despite the noise, many find the modern amenities, spaciousness, and prime location to be a compelling offering, making it a great choice for those who want to fully immerse themselves in the Honesdale experience.

Oct 14, 2022 · Travis HeadThis is an amazing space. High ceilings, new furniture and appliances. Everything is very clean. The kitchen is nearly fully stocked with what's needed to cook meals (there are only two pots and some baking trays). However, I would recommend ear plugs! These lofts are next to, above and near restaurants and a bar. The window in my bedroom faces the back of the bar and they are opening the back door, SLAMMING it and shining bright lights. The bar IS VERY LOUD. I can FEEL the banging of doors, stomping of feet and the cacophony of many people having loud conversations. Banging plates, music and other noises are going on well into the night. It's nearly 10:45 PM, and the noises are going strong. I would rate this place 5 stars if the noise wasn't an issue. Someone is having a party (only thing I can guess seeing as how the restaurant is supposedly closed at this hour on this day of the week) and it's difficult to fall asleep. I am here on a business trip, so I need to wake at 6AM. I do not think I will sleep well tonight even though the bed is very comfortable. Amazing decor, but the banging is VERY distracting and quite frankly, infuriating. To be fair, there is a paragraph in the rental agreement that states that there is a "vibrant restaurant/bar, and bakery on the first floor. Guests understand that there will fragrances that will enter all lofts and the common areas from the restaurant and bakery. Guests also understand that the restaurant and bakery are businesses that can be open early in the morning and later in the evening and night with employees, guests and clientele that can add to the elevated noise levels in their lofts. Guests understand that lofts 2A, 2B and 2C are directly above the restaurant and bakery so the noise level in the these lofts will be higher during the restaurant and bakeries business hours." The noise level could be tolerated if it weren't for the banging that goes along with it. Before booking, keep in mind you will need to be prepared for lots of banging and noises! I only slept one night here even though the minimum to stay is two nights.
Aug 05, 2022 · Tanya DapkeyLocation was excellent, and the loft was wonderfully decorated and just a really cool place. It was very clean, and there was much more space than we initially thought. Very beautiful and high-quality place to stay.
