Airway Inn at LaGuardia

Airway Inn to Runaway Out. Room 114: Has a room ever looked greasy to you? I can't explain that smeared shiny look on old furniture, it just looked gross. Small pieces of tissue were scattered on the floor it was disgusting. UNSAFE Room 115: Same shiny and dirty looking room. Both rooms were 5 ft away from the desk in the back corner. I felt like these are the rooms you pay a few hours for and keep it moving. I checked the window in the rooms and neither latched closed. UNSAFE First floor rooms and windows don't lock. CRAZY! The attendant states "we have cameras". What!? Do you know how many people did stuff on camera and haven't been caught? I don't choose to be a victim. My room key card didn't work and they told me "I got the master key I'll let you in your room" So you have a key to my room and I don't? Wait a minute now! I went back and forth with the one guy at the desk for a while until he got a cancellation and now there is another room available upstairs. Room upstairs: The second floor had a nice view and windows that locked. I'm checking windows and the lights flicker. I turned around so fast to ask "did you just turn off the lights"? The Inn or Motel employee states "oh no that wasn't me". I knew that was a sign to go. An older guy showed up after an hour of going back and forth with the younger guy and was rude. No apology no nothing. Your hotel is dirty and unsafe! Thank you hotels.com for sending that email so I could get my refund. The major problem is that they hold your money and I couldn't afford to authorize $463 twice. There was no way I could pay another motel or hotel $400 plus for 2 nights and eat and travel. I spent my first night in New York at LaGuardia airport..  Airway Inn F you!

*DO NOT GO - BEDBUGS!* A 1 star is generous. We stayed in room 409 on 12/29/24 paid about $285. the room was dirty. The lamps were broken. There was a fake eyelash in the bathroom. We overlooked a lot of things because we just needed the room for 1 quick night. In the morning we noticed bed bugs on the bed. We went to checkout and notified the front desk an he said there is nothing he can. do about it. I will be contacting the health department to report them and disputing the charge with my credit card. The owner should be ashamed of himself for running a TRASH hotel. Please report his hotel to the health department - they need to be shut down.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Airway Inn. Prior to my arrival, I called the hotel on October 27th to confirm the availability of a shuttle from LGA Airport. They assured me that they offered this service. However, upon my arrival, I called again only to be informed that the shuttle was no longer available. I had to rely on Uber to reach the hotel, which added unexpected transportation costs to my trip. When I checked into my room, I was shocked to find it in a terribly dirty condition. There was no blanket provided, and when I inquired about it, I was told it wouldn't be available until the next day. Additionally, I discovered bugs on the beds, which was extremely embarrassing for me and my family. The hallway had a strong odor of smoke, further adding to the unpleasant atmosphere. Although the staff offered us another room, it was equally unsatisfactory, with disturbing signs that it had not been properly cleaned—there appeared to be blood or similar liquid on the floor. I have taken several photos documenting the conditions of both rooms.

Close to airport but has a lack of taste I'm meaterl. Also the rooms are small but they have new furniture and it smells interesting. If you have nowhere else to go, I guess stay there but have fun. But you enjoy your trip and pick somewhere better next time.

I got a room because my flight got delayed for the next day, all honesty my best bet was to stay at the airport. This hotel is incredibly dirty and outdated. I was charged twice because I requested an early check-in. As I walked into my to my room I noticed immediately a broken drawer that they didn’t even care to fix. The sheets look like it was not changed after the previous person. Blood on the pillow no pillowcase cigarette burns on curtains and bugs everywhere. To top all that both the AC and TV did not work. I promise you if I could rate this 0 stars I would. I don’t know how this hotel is up and running, but it has to be because people like me with the unfortunate situations of last minute flight cancellations that they get lucky for any business at all. I would not recommend this place. It’s A DUMP!
