LaGuardia Plaza Hotel

I just stayed here this past weekend and I'm so sad to be home. Such a beautiful and clean hotel. The beds are amazingly comfy and the rooms extremely clean. The whole hotel is clean and shiny. Every person we met was just so friendly and happy. It was a quiet and peaceful stay. The pool was nice, unfortunately they removed the hot tub thou. The bar/restaurant was great. My husband loved it, and ordered all his meals from there. I had planned a birthday lunch at a local restaurant, and he didn't want to go!! He was beyond happy to try more stuff off the menu at the hotel, he is still mad he didn't get to the MeatLoaf. I didn't get her name but there was a woman, she worked the breakfast buffet Saturday/Sunday morning and the bar Saturday for lunch time. She was amazing!! Really made us feel comfortable and our trip much better. I'm not a big bar person but she was so friendly, truly a great asset to your staff. We can't wait to come back for another weekend trip! My only complaint would be, I wish there was a way to stream movies or hook up a roku or something.

Amazing Staff. The desk agent Pierre was very busy and made the check in experience fun and keep every happy. This was my first time at this hotel and talk to him for like 5 minutes. Flew out next morning and came back 5 days later. Pierre was working when I walked in and said welcome back Mr. Morris. That is an impressive and outstanding skill to have. Top notch service.

The beds are super comfortable! This hotel is basic and a great place to stay if you want to be close to LaGuardia airport. This is our second time staying here and I would gladly stay again. The shuttle is an amazing amenity especially with the astronomical uber/taxi prices in New York lately.

We stayed for three nights. Room service for food was expensive and you had to purchase a minimum of $15. There was no free breakfast. Some staff were amazingly friendly and helpful while others were short and borderline snappy. The room service replaced our towels and sheets, but forgot to take out our trash, leading to an overflow.

If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would. We recently hosted a wedding party at this hotel and the hotel service was the worst I have ever experienced. The front desk and staff were not accommodating at all to our big party and the rooms themselves were garbage. Super low toilet seat, random stains everywhere, no lighting at all. And don’t get me started on the drilling noises that were happening in the early morning. Additionally, every night, we heard crazy loud music from other people’s room as well as other disgusting things. At least make the rooms more sound proof if you’re going to do all that. When going down to breakfast, we found that the hotel staff didn’t give us the correct number of breakfast vouchers and the breakfast staff were not letting us in and being rude as well. How is that our fault? I regret booking this hotel when i could’ve booked the nicer Marriott down the street. From the hotel staff being disrespectful and rude to the room conditions, this was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. Please train your staff properly.
