I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We chose it because of the close proximity to the airport. The staff was easy to communicate with and everyone seemed friendly. The bed was comfortable and I slept like a baby until the planes flying literally over the hotel kept me awake. They seemed to come every 5 minutes. It was pretty cool seeing the planes fly so close to the hotel once you’re awake and ready for your day. The shuttle to the airport was also better than paying for a taxi or Uber. Overall you will have a good experience at this hotel.

I was looking for a cheap option as my flight was delayed a day. This place was great sure. But what made it special was Ingrid and her loving hospitality!! A good hotel is NOTHING without caring, kind, and passionate employees She went above and beyond to help me with anything I needed, and was just the sweetest soul!! 5 star service and Ingrid makes this quaint little place tower above the rest, as THEY don't have a kind one in a million employee like her My New York trip ended just perfectly because of her and this hotels service, thank you!!

First time to New York and since we new nothing about the public transport, we wanted to stay by the airport. We wanted an affordable price, with shuttle included. We found Avion online. We were very pleased with the hotel. Are room was clean, and the best bed I've slept on in a hotel. The staff was extremely helpful. Our thank- you's go out to Mohammed, who was so kind and helped us to find places to eat, where to catch the right bus,and in general, a most friendly, caring employee, who made our trip, worry free. I give him 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ wish every hotel had him, wherever we go😊Again thanks for a great stay. We will be back, if we go to NYC again.Jan&Rich

Needed a place to get a couple hours of sleep before 6am flight, did not have high expectations but this not great. First shuttle in the morning was late. Room would get random bad smells. The walls are very thin, we were barely able to get any sleep because the room above us sounded like they were having a WWE smackdown event. Called multiple times about the noise and nothing changed for hours. I knew the place would not be great based on the price but will definitely pay for one of the nicer surrounding hotels next time
