I stayed here for three nights. Location was perfect for my stay, walkable to many attractions and Penn station. The service was great, the hotel upgraded our room at no extra cost and was responsive to our requests. The room was very clean and the size was fine for two people. We had drinks at the bar a couple times during our stay and there’s a $15 daily credit that applies to the bar. The roof has a nice view, with a rooftop bar that’s open during the summer.

Mar 19, 2025 · AlissaThe Arlo Hotel is ideal for friends who don't mind staying in a charmingly tiny room. The hotel clearly advertises itself as a micro-hotel, and that is exactly what you can expect. The rooms are quite small, to the extent that the bathroom sink is located in the corridor. However, the modern aesthetics and vibrant atmosphere earn a solid 10/10. The staff at the reception are excellent and even brought our luggage to our room before we arrived. You receive a $15 voucher, which is somewhat useless since it can only be used at their restaurant for dinner, where the service leaves much to be desired. The location is decent, but the street can feel sketchy at night. Overall, it's a great place to stay with friends.
Mar 24, 2025 · Luana PaivaI stayed at Arlo Nomad in NYC for my birthday and unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The biggest issue was that my room wasn't ready when I arrived, which was fine, but I was told I’d receive a text when it was. After hours of waiting, I had to go back to the front desk, where I learned my room had been ready the whole time. The lack of communication was frustrating, and it made the check-in process feel unorganized. Another issue was the hotel’s lack of a doorman, and the heavy doors were difficult to open—yet the staff didn’t offer any assistance while watching guests struggle. The rooms were small (as expected in NYC), but they had huge windows, which was nice, although you could easily see into other rooms. Only one elevator was working, and the wait was ridiculous. I had to stand in line for 30 minutes just to get up to my room. I also had a weird experience at the diner. I went there at 2:30 pm, but the waitress told me they were closed, even though I saw a couple sitting down to eat. I called the front desk, and they confirmed that the diner should’ve been open. It felt like I was being misled. Finally, the music in the lobby was inappropriate for the early morning hours. It didn’t set the right tone for a relaxing stay. The one positive was the pleasant smell in the lobby, but honestly, I wouldn’t return to this hotel even if it was free. It was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.
Feb 10, 2025 · Dena SHad a fantastic stay at Arlo Nomad! The hotel is clean and in a super convenient location—perfect for walking to great restaurants, shops, and attractions. The rooftop is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views of the city. The staff was incredibly friendly, polite, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stylish and well-located stay in NYC!
Feb 15, 2025 · Taryn McClearyLoved this hotel and I’m so glad we chose it for our trip to NYC. The staff is what makes this hotel beyond stellar. Every person we interacted with was so welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately didn’t take many pics of the hotel but our room was spotless and we loved the vibe in the lobby and diner. Valet parking made arriving and departing a breeze and staff offered to hold our luggage while our room was being prepared so we could start exploring. Would definitely stay here again!
