It was what I expected for $75 a night in Manhattan. Bring your own sheet, pillow, and thin blanket if you can…. And pack your headphones. . Its a $75 a night hotel in a fun side of Manhattan. You are lucky to have had a bathroom and closet for this price. ✌️

The hotel boasts a quirky and eclectic atmosphere, reflecting the bohemian vibe of the Lower East Side. While it caters primarily to budget-conscious travelers and backpackers, Bowery Grand Hotel provides all the essential amenities to make your stay comfortable. Guests can expect private bathrooms and closets in each room, which is a significant advantage for travelers looking for affordable yet private accommodations.

While the hotel does not provide bedding, towels are included, and guests are encouraged to bring their own sheets, pillows, and blankets for added comfort.

Bowery Grand Hotel is particularly popular among travelers who appreciate its affordability and central location. However, it’s important to note that the hotel caters to a younger crowd and those traveling on a tight budget. Some guests have mentioned that the rooms can feel small, and the bathroom may not be as luxurious as in higher-end hotels. Additionally, noise levels can be high due to the hotel's busy location and shared walls.

Customer feedback highlights both the pros and cons of staying at Bowery Grand Hotel. Many guests praise its affordability and prime location, noting that it’s an excellent option for those willing to compromise on room size and luxury. However, others have expressed concerns about the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the overall condition of the rooms. One guest described their experience as "super disgusting" and mentioned hearing and smelling neighbors due to thin walls.

Despite these challenges, Bowery Grand Hotel continues to attract guests who are looking for a unique and affordable stay in New York City. If you’re prepared for a no-frills experience and prioritize location over luxury, this hotel could be the perfect fit for your next visit to Manhattan.

I been there for a week and I gotta tell y’all if you’re not super young or super broke don’t even bother. The prices are good yea I know but it’s not even your get what you pay for you get less😭 the bathroom was super disgusting it felt like a rat is gonna come up any second. I’d rather use the washrooms in restaurants on 42 st cause that was unreasonable. Also the room itself is soo small idk if you can actually see it on the website but if you come with an actual suit it’s gonna be way too full. Also I was there in summer and it was soo hot too and smells kinda weird cause it’s a bunch of ppl over there and the room isn’t really closed there is no real roof for your room so you don’t just smell everybody you also hear everybody. I was unlucky cause there was one guy who talked to HIMSELF the entire night and the other one was gooning probably cause I heard him moan A LOT. But if you a real tough guy and all that don’t concern you hey go ahead the position is pretty nice I mean lower east manhattan you can’t complain with the train you can go everywhere from there

-10 stars bed bugs smell pee everywhere crowded of homeless people sharing dirty bathroom. The room it’s like grave. Please don’t go there I’m begging you guys worst experience ever I cannot stay I left right away. They have no management they have one guy in the reception nobody can understand him he can only say (I’m just giving you the room) that’s all he says he never helps. This is on Dec 23d 2024.

I've stayed here a couple of times within the last 2 yrs. If you're female they always put you on the first floor (stairs so pack light) only 1flight up. Always friendly, the beds are lil hard, a few bathrooms usually ok clean, shut with a key, a door in tiny room (closet) and lay down to sleep is priceless! Bring earbuds or quiet listening phone, bring or buy instant Instant coffee, tea always free hot water. They want a cash deposit $20? for blankets etc. You can leave luggage for early check-in/out. I tip something for courtesy nothing ever happened. Chinatown location easy to walk around and always felt safe even outside smoking late nights. It's good enough for resting. It's a great budget location!

*CHEAP AS HELL! 1000% - I’m extremely cheap to the core…. But that’s just me, !!! if *you* value comfort and ambiance , then THIS PLACE will most likely NOT be suitable for you or your standards, and I say that with respect for the establishment……. I would avoid this option if you are traveling with women or children,…. NO OFFENSE/Just my honest opinion *To the solo man traveler : 1. Amazing location for the *Bottom Dollar rate* the price is unbeatable! Smack dab in the middle of downtown manhattan 5 stars for the price and 5 stars for the location!!! 2. NOT A HOSTLE. ROOMS ARE PRIVATE bedrooms are small Prison cells with a small cott and a small table and mine had a fan for air flow. **** I say this as I am a SINGLE MAN and American traveler so I •don’t need• anything more. But , Place beats any hostel! (( 5 stars because a small bed-cell is better than a shared room!
