Get directionsI’m going to assume that most of the negative reviews are from people who are picky and expect everything to be perfect. This is a very nice hotel, especially considering its lower prices compared to other hotels in the Boston area. The only real issues we ran into (which were very minor) were that we had to call down twice to the front desk for new towels since housekeeping never brought any, and I noticed that some of the furniture is a bit worn and damaged, specifically the tables and lampshades. But again, extremely minor point. The hotel staff were friendly and our room was very nice and clean. Overall a great experience staying here and I’d most definitely consider coming back.
May 11, 2025 · Patrick O'NeilMy family and I had an amazing stay at this hotel, thanks to the incredible staff and overall great experience. The front desk was outstanding—always hospitable, attentive, and genuinely caring. He made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived . They checked in regularly, gave us great dining recommendations, and truly made a difference in our stay. Housekeeping was also excellent. The lady assigned to our room was thoughtful and worked around our schedule, which we really appreciated. The hotel itself was very clean, well-maintained, adding to the comfort of our stay. On top of all that, the hotel is in a fantastic location—Everything we needed was nearby. This was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Between the best service, cleanliness, and location, we will certainly be returning and highly recommend it to others.
Apr 01, 2025 · Mirela ManaGood things: - Embassy suites room configuration is convenient with pull out couch. - Breakfast omelette station... but line gets long after 0800 on weekends so don't sleep in. - Location is fairly convenient. There's a Costco right next door. Bad things: - Manager's reception is terrible here. MA doesn't let them do free drinks and they charge $5-10 for a beer. They put out some pretzels and chips most nights -- maybe a veggie or fruit tray. No hot food. They weren't even trying to make up for the lack of a free beer or glass of wine. - Housekeeping is poor. We asked for housekeeping on three different days over a week and got ZERO visits. I had to get glassware from the bar because our room had none. We had to get our own extra blanket and change out our own towels from a housekeeping cart. We took out the trash ourselves in those tiny little hotel trash cans. Just advertise it as an "extended stay" model and provide some bigger trash cans and cleaning supplies if you have given up on housekeeping. The room had been cleaned but we still found some items left by the last group so clearly not that thoroughly. - Parking charge of $15/night. No comp for Hilton Gold Members. No valet, no security -- just a straight upcharge. Just add it to the price of the room. - Breakfast other than the omelets was "ok." Not great, not terrible. Sometimes ran out of of basics like coffee. Better get up early and beat the rush. - Pool has no hot tub. Photos showing one must be old. I really went between two and three stars for this visit but grudgingly gave three because the room configuration is convenient. The parking charge and poor quality manager's reception cost ~$35/value every day so factor that in when you make your choice.
Apr 22, 2025 · ChrisThe hotel definitely needs a facelift and it looks like that’s what they were going through. Their bathrooms needed some extra cleaning. Outside it looks like they were painting and making the hotel better looking. The service was nice and the fitness club was good. The pool was OK. The rating on this hotel in my opinion is good.
May 15, 2025 · Franco PacificI have stayed at this hotel a few times with family and it’s my go to place to stay when visiting Boston. We love the two room suite, the sofa bed is very comfortable and the extra sink by the microwave and coffee maker is convenient. I have consistently received good service, never had problems with room or towels or cleanliness or food. I’m surprised to see the negative reviews. Last week during our stay, the hotel was full with several school sports teams. And yet service was quick, room was clean, the made to order egg white omelette at breakfast was delicious. The room, breakfast area and the lobby were all spacious. I’ll definitely be back when I visit my college student in Boston again.
