Our team stayed at the extended stay on 52 fourth ave in Waltham, MS. I don’t typically leave one star reviews, but I’m hoping this catches the eye of extended stay corporate so that something changes. Our other experiences with extended stay have been great. Our room was filthy, dirty sheets (mine had a booger on it), the bathroom had big clumps of hair around the base of the toilet, the fridge was caked in dirt and food, there was popcorn tied to string dangling from the lamp and our entire floor smelled so awful. A majority of the staff including the assistant GM didn’t seem to care about anything. We asked multiple times for our room to be cleaned and it was “cleaned” and we were in formed we needed to take our trash to the trash room……it…was…awful!!!! It was literally a room piled with trash. No dumpster. Just trash. The side of the hall opposite the trash room smells like something may have died or there is an on going sewage leak or something. It’s so awful.

May 12, 2025 · ashley hagelHorrible place. Needed to stay 1 night for work. My fault for booking the cheapest place around. But, this was disgusting. Room had multiple safety issues and was clearly abused and ignored. Hallways smelled dirty. Room was dirty. I was also told that if I wanted to use the laundry that it was maintained by a 3rd party company and no refunds. Multiple attempts by my wife to contact corporate were ignored. When there was someone at the front desk they were rude. I was informed at checkin that there was no free breakfast, not even coffee availble.
May 12, 2025 · Mark HarmonDO NOT STAY HERE, NO MATTER WHAT. This is the most dirty, disgusting hotel I've ever been in. From the second you walk in you get a wave of smoke smell. We had to call the lady at the desk over and over for her to actually give us a key. Our room smelled even more strongly of smoke (supposedly no-smoking hotel) and was a single bed instead of 2. We checked out immediately afterwards (after needing to call the front desk lady for over 15 minutes) without staying and were told we'll have to call the manager tomorrow morning for a refund after this nightmare of an experience. Tons of shady characters walking around the hotel. I am absolutely amazed that this place is legally allowed to conduct business in such a state of disservice, and it depresses me that this is the only option for so many people. I have stayed in other extended stay americas in the US with no issues but this one should be shut down. This was my worst hotel experience of my whole life.
May 20, 2025 · Grant ParajuliNot a very good hotel they lacked in so many areas from the 1st moment we arrived at the hotel. Both female receptionists were not keen on helping and their attitude can come across as rude, unprofessional and unwelcoming the room was ok but their customer service skills needs to be improved massively. There is complimentary breakfast however this is merely an optional item for the receptionists as they told us we needed to wait for the coffee to brew. we had to wait for more than 40 minutes for them to brew it past the end time of the breakfast service hours and then telling us the time has past so we can’t get coffee, that is unbelievable one of the worst customer services I have gotten in my life. From the moment we arrived ant the hotel at 9 am and asked for the wifi they just said you haven’t checked you have to wait until 3 pm, so we can’t give you wifi access until then. It is more about the attitude and less about the actual reason for sth being given to the customer or not.
May 10, 2025 · Santiago AponteStaff is awesome and really helpful and friendly. Hotel is pretty dinghy and there was no cookware in the kitchen?? Very strange. It was clean but had a feeling I was lucky on that. People were yelling at like 10pm at night. Wouldn’t stay here again.
