We absolutely loved our stay at the Hilton Graduate! From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff greeted my family and me with glowing smiles, making us feel truly welcome. They were incredibly helpful during check-in, even with our energetic toddler running around, which we really appreciated. We also had a fun time with “Fly Boy”! As for the rooms, I have to be honest—they could have been cleaner. We encountered a few issues but chose to work through them. However, the reason for my solid 5-star rating is entirely because of Steven in the restaurant. He is absolutely amazing—thoughtful, attentive to detail, and incredibly timely. On our first morning, I ordered water with lemon and a small scoop of honey for my toddler’s cough (something Steven didn’t even know about). To my surprise, every morning after, during our three-day stay, he had it ready on our table without us even asking. That small yet meaningful gesture meant so much to me and truly put the cherry on top of our experience. His exceptional service is why I overlooked the minor room issues—we felt genuinely cared for. I sincerely hope Steven gets the recognition he deserves! If you stay here (which I highly recommend), be sure to sit in Steven’s section—you won’t regret it!

This is the one to book! Roosevelt Island gives you the best views of the city with a little slice of peace and quiet. Rooms are modern, clean & comfortable. Lobby, lounge & restaurant area is super cool with the big wall of books. Spend a little extra for a room with a view for an unforgettable experience! Wendy was super kind & helpful at check in. The tramway and the train are both only a short, easy walk away. This is my new go-to when I'm in the city.

Nothing can beat the location. Absolutely beautiful. Our rooms were not cleaned well. The shower was dirty. The sink had green toothpaste in it still. There was a dirty tissue behind the toilet. Makes you wonder if anything was cleaned? We paid $70 for valet parking. When we went to leave in the morning, we had to wait over 25 minutes to get our keys. The valet driver was no where to be found and there was no one at the front desk with 4 people waiting in line. The head chef ended up coming over to see if he could help until someone showed up! This was our first NYC experience. Our son was seen at the Angelman Clinic at Weill Cornell. We were almost late to this very important appointment we traveled 5 hours for due to poor customer service.

Nice quiet location with easy access to everything via ferry, subway, bus, and tram. Friendly staff. Clean hotel. Nice rooms. Books in the lobby are fascinating to explore. The restaurant is good, not a big menu, but good before heading out. Rooftop has great views, good vibes. Island has some good restaurants, small grocery store available.

We spent last week at the Graduate Hilton. Absolutely loved the experience. The close proximity to the variety of transportation methods is a major plus. The skyline views are worth waking up early for! While waiting for other family members to roll out of their comfortable beds, my husband and I walked the peaceful island. Such a beautiful way to start the day. Hotel stay was helpful and friendly, LOVE having the restaurant option ‘in house’. We were there sunday-sunday and we are already looking forward to a return trip. Will absolutely book here!
