I usually have a great experience at the Residence Inn New York Queens, but unfortunately, this stay was disappointing. As an airline employee, rest is critical for me, and I did not achieve that this morning. As a Marriott Platinum Elite member, I frequently use the late checkout feature, which helps me decide whether to extend my stay or report to work. However, despite having a Do Not Disturb sign on my door, housekeeping attempted to enter my room multiple times throughout the morning, rushing me to leave. By the third attempt—after I had already called the front desk—I had enough. I feel that a simple phone call would have been much more appropriate instead of repeatedly barging into my room. I am very disappointed that I even have to write this, as this is not the level of service I expect from Marriott. I hope management addresses this issue so that loyal guests like myself can continue to stay here with confidence.
The Residence Inn New York Queens is a cozy and conveniently located hotel that provides a welcoming environment for both business travelers and leisure guests. The Residence Inn New York Queens is committed to ensuring that each guest’s stay is as comfortable as possible. However, recent reviews have highlighted some areas where the hotel could improve. One guest shared their experience of being disturbed multiple times by housekeeping despite having a "Do Not Disturb" sign on their door. This was particularly frustrating for a frequent Marriott customer who values the convenience of late check-out and expects uninterrupted rest.
Another guest encountered an issue with the elevator, which left them stranded for a significant amount of time before receiving assistance. While this was not the hotel's fault, it highlighted the importance of prompt response times during emergencies. Additionally, parking at the hotel has been described as challenging due to slow valet service and difficulty in finding available staff.
Despite these challenges, many guests appreciate the hotel's proximity to public transportation and its overall value for money. For those willing to overlook minor inconveniences, the Residence Inn New York Queens can be a decent option when visiting New York City.
In conclusion, the Residence Inn New York Queens offers a mix of modern amenities and strategic location that makes it an appealing choice for travelers. While there are areas where the hotel could improve its service and response times, it remains a viable option for those seeking comfortable lodging in the vicinity of New York City's attractions.

Mar 22, 2025 · Kio WrrldI got stuck on an elevator, which is no fault of the hotel but I pressed the call button over and over and the alarm but no response. I finally reached someone after calling the front desk three times and an engineer finally came and got me out. I had a flight to catch while I was stuck waiting in there but what if it was an actual life and death emergency? Parking is also a nightmare. You have no choice but to use the slow Valet drivers who are never on post. You have to hunt them down just to get your car back. I can’t go on but after these two, why would anyone stay here? I absolutely recommend another hotel.
Mar 02, 2025 · 김태준Room was great with more than you need for few days. Atmosphere in the hotele is very relaxed. Breakfast in pyjamas is regular there :) Close to F metro station. I was going alone by foot, for 4 days, also after dark and had no issues. But I can imagine that some especially single women would want an Uber back to the hotel. If you have light sleep ask for room not from the street side. On the street cars are honking to late late hours and windows don't isolate sound.
Feb 19, 2025 · Bartosz JózefowskiThe room itself was nice and for the size with having a mini kitchenette was a great value for longer stays. The free breakfast was great as well. The location isn’t the best and is next to the largest housing projects in the United States. I was told by locals to not walk alone at night in the area. The view of Manhattan would be great but there is a giant industrial building in the way. For the money I spent on Ubers at night I could’ve just stayed in Manhattan.
Nov 24, 2024 · CassidyIt is an affordable hotel, near the train station (F train) that will get you into Manhattan in short minutes. Ok, the location is not Central Park South, but if it was, it would be triple the money or more. No need to rent a car if you spending time in NYC, we got the $34 weekly pass subway metro card and take an Uber ride back to the hotel at night. So much to see and do in this beautiful city. We are here at the moment and love the room with small kitchen. The hotel provides a good breakfast with plenty to choose from. Staff are friendly, very helpful, and accommodating if you need something to make your stay better. THANK YOU MARRIOT ❤️❤️
