We found this place in desperation after another local hotel cancelled our reservation. We found the staff to be extremely pleasant and accommodating. The room was nice and clean, the bed very comfortable. We could've used a bit more hot water pressure, but aside from that, everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Nov 23, 2022 · David BakerVery good value for new York! We stayed 4 nights, getting to the city centre was easy using the F line. As others have said slightly sketchy walk but nobody bothered us. Rooms were clean and fresh - fridge but no microwave, no big deal. Staff were super friendly. This was overall great value for a basic place to stay and we would visit again!
Aug 24, 2022 · Thomas KellyThis is a two star hotel at the time of this review. Room, bed, floors, bathroom are all clean. I found no evidence of pests here. I stayed for 4 days. Parking is decent, proximity to the city and public transportation is great. Only drawback is that the front desk person might go missing or be on break. The front desk person is very nice, but sometimes you might not find them or they on break and you need to wait. Otherwise, great experience. I extended my stay for two more nights after the 2nd night.

The furniture was chipped, my bathroom has a weird smell so I had to keep the door closed through my stay and there was stains on the shower curtain. I also kept finding hair everywhere like in the shower and on the toilet seat. The room also smelt like armpits. The hotel overall is decent. Not that many amenities but it’s close to the city so that’s a plus. Hotel staff is also very nice.

Room feels much smaller than the provided photos though. What completely ruined my experience is that EVERY SINGLE DAY during my 4-night stay at the hotel I would walk into the very strong smell of weed in my room. This is because someone was smoking in the bathroom and the smell would travel the air ducts. I think it is unacceptable for any hotel at this price. I know the management would say about the nonsmoking policy, but people mentioned it already and management isn’t doing anything. Why not install another smoke detector in the bath or do something else about it? Also, the receptionist would take too many long brakes, it took us 30mins to check in simply because there was no one available.
