While the rooms were clean and updated the staff was less than pleasant. They were rude on the phone prior to staying, even though I had called back multiple times to confirm with other staff - they had not communicated between themselves and took it out on us. And then the day of the wedding made MULTIPLE guests - 6 plus rooms of people - change in the conference room with no privacy because they refused to let anyone check in early until all the rooms were cleaned because they claimed it wouldn't be fair.... At this point when we found out people weren't able to get rooms yet it was after 3pm. It was embarrassing and rude. If they has just let a few guest get rooms people would have changed in peace and allowed others to get ready in their rooms with some bit of privacy. If we had known this was going on we would have offered up our room for people to change too. They were also concerned about security because they were told they now needed to leave their belongings there since they had to leave to make it to the wedding. It was embarrassing and rude. They also flat out lied and said they never let anyone check in early. When I called prior to my visit I did call to confirm when check in was and was told they do allow early check in if there are rooms available. They also allowed us to the day before. We had come up Friday and we checked in at 2:30 pm. Another family member arrived at 2:40 and got into their room as well. Other guests were told by staff they should have prepared and come up a day early trying to blame them for this debacle. The only reason we did is because we were in the wedding and needed to be there the night before. There was no night before event so if you weren't in the wedding why would you spend the extra money. Thankfully I have no reason to be in that area again but would not be returning if I did.

However, it is crucial to present a balanced view, as some guest experiences have been significantly negative, particularly concerning staff interactions and adherence to policies, especially for groups or during peak times. Criticisms include:
These severe service issues stand in stark contrast to the hotel's strong physical amenities and the positive experiences of other guests. It suggests that while the facilities are generally excellent, the quality of guest service can be inconsistent, particularly when dealing with non-standard requests or large groups. This highlights the importance for guests to proactively confirm all policies, especially for early check-in or group bookings, and to be prepared for potential rigidity from staff.
The hotel is generally smoke-free, with designated smoking areas where fines apply for non-compliance. Pets are not allowed, except for service animals, which is a key detail for travelers with animal companions.

Apr 28, 2025 · Jess MurphyFinding this hotel was such a happy accident! The rates are very reasonable, check in was a breeze (and came with complimentary cookies) and the front desk attendant Symphonie was just the best- very kind and informative (you can even reach the desk by text if you don't feel like interacting!). The rooms are cozy and clean, the beds are comfortable. The pool area is very clean, warm and enjoyable with plenty of towels. The free breakfast was absolutely next level- delicious eggs and omelets, biscuits, cinnamon buns, meats a plenty and home fries and gravy, and even a pancake machine, says my allergy free partner. As for my daughter and I with symptomatic gluten/dairy allergies, the eggs, meats and home fries were delicious and safe AND they even had cartons of soy and almond milk in regular and chocolate varieties and Udis blueberry muffins individually packaged. My daughter was over the moon :) it sounds silly but for a 9 yr old she was so ecstatic they had options for her, it really means a lot. We will absolutely be coming back here, this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in, and we're so thankful for the extra touches they provide that make the experience so great.
May 04, 2025 · Sue FeinbergThe staff in this hotel is very friendly and helpful. We had stayed at this hotel for a ski trip and we had a change of plans but the staff was very accommodating. We had previously stayed at a hotel near Mount Snow but had a terrible experience. Even though this hotel was 40mins away from the mountains, it was well worth the drive. The rooms were clean and surprisingly during breakfast it did not feel overcrowded. The tables were constantly cleaned and the breakfast had a lot of options. We will definitely be back!
Feb 22, 2025 · Jonnie C.What an amazing hotel! I love to come here and just relax! The staff make your stay so fantastic and the rooms are immaculate!!. A huge shout out to Beth and Dominic for going above for me. I'm extremely grateful for the both of you.
Mar 05, 2025 · Jenn THonestly, we don’t travel much, but of all the places we have ever stayed, this one consistently stands out. They have all the things we look for - pool, decent beds, clean, nice service, good breakfast - but it is the little attention to detail that makes it so special. Things like a firm and soft pillow on each side of the beds. Complimentary replacement toiletries for people who forgot their own. Fresh baked cookies on arrival… I mean cmon. All at a reasonable price. If you can spend the extra little bit, the value is more than worth the money.
