We had a one bedroom suite last night (6/15/25, room 706). After several hours, I went to the front desk and informed them that the air conditioning in the living room did not work and we were confined to the bedroom. They sent someone to check the air conditioner. I stopped back by the room while she was working on it, and she clearly told me she would have it fixed. We returned back to the room at 7 pm and it was still warm but we gave it until almost 9 pm and it was still hot. I tried calling the front desk and got no answer. I immediately went down to the front desk and found the employee staring at their cell phone. I explained that the room was still hot, and she said, " Oh yes, I know. We are switching your room. " I kindly asked when they were going to inform us they were switching our room. I got no real response to that. We moved all of our belongings at 9:30 pm to room 802. The new room was suck a downgrade. It was the same type of room, but it had fewer furnishings, and the light in the half bath only half worked. It was in pretty sad shape. I assume that's the reason it wasn't rented out in the first place. It turns out the air conditioner in the bedroom didn't work very well and we had a terrible night's sleep. We were so done with this experience we left without having breakfast for fear of further disappointment. Upon check-out, our bill showed $202.95. Yet when we checked in, they put a hold on our card for $302.95. I am hoping this extra $100 will drop off when the payment clears our bank. Otherwise, I will contact their corporate. We are members and love their hotels, but this was an experience we want to put behind us.

May 17, 2025 · Christopher WitalecWe have stayed here for a couple of nights when we had to check out the University of Maryland for our son’s admission. Located on Baltimore Avenue, it is at a stone’s throw away from the campus and it is very convenient to go back and forth. We got a corner room on the 5th floor (524) and it was spacious and very quiet. The room was clean and water pressure in the shower was quite good. The breakfast buffer has all the standard items and is quite sumptuous. For around $150/night, I see this as a good value for money. If you can get it for less than $120/night, it will be a great bargain.
Jun 03, 2025 · Mukund NarasimhanMy stay was among the worst hotel stays I've ever had. When we checked in, the hotel could not generate keys. For the next day, we needed to wait for a maintenance guy to open our room. Sometimes quick, sometimes not. Once, my son had to go to the bathroom and, naturally, that was our longest wait, which was embarrassing to him. This is aside from the large hairball that was underneath our sink when we arrived. I have a photo. On day 2, my friend checked out and shared with me that he got a very large portion of his bill deducted for the trouble. I assumed I'd be treated the same way when I checked out the next day. The person at the registration desk said I'd get my invoice via email. I was shocked to see a $400+ charge on my card. I hope that Holiday/IHG plans to make this right so I don't have to raise the issues elsewhere. I have already lodged a complaint, which was sent a few days ago and I have not yet gotten a response. To be clear, I do not blame the staff. They tried really hard under difficult circumstances. The maintenance guy couldn't be everywhere at once. He kept showing up sweaty and out of breath, so I commend his efforts. But that doesn't change the fact that we couldn't access our room without waiting for help, which is unacceptable and should have been fixed BEFORE I received a bill.
Jun 06, 2025 · Justin PerriEnjoyed staying there. Very comfortable long term stay arrangement. Breakfast was an adventure every day. The Breakfast staff was very professional, helpful and compassionate.
Jun 18, 2025 · anjum smithI would have given it a perfect 5 stars if it weren’t for the broken AC in the breakfast room this morning. It was sweltering hot! But other than that, everything was fantastic. I loved the location and the hotel was spotless and super clean.
