This was my first time “doing” New Orleans. I had been through the city before but never got to experience it completely. Hotel Montelone was fabulously centrally located as we walked over 20 miles over a 4 day weekend between the river, Frenchman st, bourbon st, and everything in between! Plus the famous Carousel Bar in it which had live music and great drinks every night! The service was amazing with our room being cleaned and turn down service every night. The rooms themselves were beautiful and clean and modern but in a historical was. Absolutely wonderful. Plus the pool ok the roof was great! My favorite server was Earl the pool operator/bar tender for the rooftop pool bar. He made great recommendations and was just delightful with his service! We purposefully went back to the rooftop bar multiple times just because of his service! All in all it was a great place to stay and would highly recommend!

Hotel was beautiful and perfectly located near Bourbon Street. I travelled with my partner and we had a great time. But, when we went to use the bathroom, the shower was dirty and had hair on the walls/ground. When we laid in bed, she noticed there was face products/patches stuck to the bed and became grossed out. Disappointed in the price I paid to not receive a perfectly cleaned room. We were woken up one morning by construction in the room directly across from ours and were not notified that it was occurring. The construction lasted early morning and throughout the day. I would’ve requested a different room if I knew that was happening. Also, the hotel restaurant, bar and pool bar are very expensive compared to everything else in the area. Overall, it was an amazing vacation, lots to do around the hotel, but I just wish the room was cleaner and we were notified of construction right across from us.

Service is only 4 ⭐: Room service constantly have forgotten to bring body lotion, soap and shampoo to the room. Had to call the front desk nearly every day to remind them about missing items. Also, room service ladies were freaky strange to roll our charging cords and unplugging my computer from the charge. 🤔🤷🤯🤯🤯 Location is GREAT everything is in walking distance, you do NOT need to rent a car and pay additionally for parking. Great view from our 14th floor 💖❤️🤩 not sure about the other floors

We hosted our quarterly Board meeting here. The service was great and everyone was very attentive to our needs. The meeting room was perfect for our meeting of 10-12 participants. The hotel rooms were very nice and well appointed. I love the atmosphere of the hotel and can't say enough about the Carousel Bar! One of a kind!!

Staying at this hotel is an experience in itself. Its rich history gives the entire property a sense of timeless charm, making it much more than just a place to sleep. The rooms are beautifully appointed, balancing historic character with modern comfort. The famous rotating bar is a must-visit — a lively, iconic spot serving exceptional cocktails. The spa is equally outstanding, offering a luxurious retreat to unwind and recharge. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed for dinner during the two days I was there, but I’ll definitely make it back to try it out.
