Dear Hyatt team, I had very bad customer service experience at Hyatt place, Washington DC convention center location. I was expecting better service and room quality from brand like Hyatt. When I checked in, room keys did not worked and I had to go back and get it changed. I had requested for 6 guests stay, but there were only 2 towels and no additional blankets for sofa bed. No one answered front desk even calling multiple times on first night. So, we had to go down and pick up the towels . Same happened in the morning & evening next day, no one picked up phone after calling multiple times, & we had to go down again to pickup the towels and other things. When I notified this to front desk person, he answered that phone never rang and was never apologetic. No daily housekeeping, and just 2-3 coffee pods, creamer/sugar in the room for 2 nights for 6 people. Not sure if expectation from guest to keep calling for small things. Sofa bed was also really uncomfortable. I hope you can maintain the customer service quality. VERY VERY disappointed!!!

The location is good, right at the intersection. And it's easy to spot. However, we had a hard time locating the basement parking and finding the elevator. The hotel is decent and feels luxurious. The room interior is smart and spacious too. Although when you notice the finishing, it looks cheaper. Nevertheless we stayed for one night and we enjoyed our stay. No problems no issues.

Location is great and very walkable. Hotel is a wreck. Construction everywhere, had multiple people knocking on my door asking me to check out early while I was actively working, drilling noises nonstop, parking fees are insane, my room was not properly cleaned before my arrival (hair everywhere) and the hotel had NO HOT WATER. Hotel staff did not think to share that information until I went down to switch rooms. Paying full price for a hotel with no hot water is ridiculous and I will be reaching out for a refund.

For the price we paid for the room I am definitely pleased. The rooms were clean the perfect size. I also want to take a moment to talk about the amazing service we received from Victor at the front desk. We spoke to him over the phone before we checked in and his customer service and communication were exceptional from that moment until we checked out. He was professional, friendly, and provided great accurate recommendations for the area. Victor made our stay THAT much better. Thank you Victor!

The staff were super nice. This hotel is a bit dated, with cracks in the walls and ceiling. The shower has weak pressure. There is no noise insulation, so you can hear all the spring break kids running up and down the halls and goofing off until late at night. I did like the set up of the room with a desk between a couch area and the bed. There is a keurig coffee maker in the room. I was told the breakfast is $17, so I didn’t try it. Housekeeping did come by during the day, which was nice. I probably will not stay here again, especially due to the late-night noise.
