Stayed here for work and was happy overall. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Plenty of room to move and put my things and I loved the overall aesthetic. Valet was great, attendants were super nice and definitely worth it to avoid finding parking. Staff was nice. Only downside was the restaurant service, I went right before lunch and got absolutely no service so ended up leaving.

May 09, 2025 · Sara DuryeaThe hotel was great. The location was perfect walking distance from almost everything. Very clean. They even have bikes in the lobby for guests. The roof deck has a great view. Only flaws are the parking and the restaurant in the building. The menu is very short, and the hotel has no direct connection to the restaurant, which I found kind of odd when trying to figure out hours and menu. Staff were pleasant, and housekeeping was great.
Apr 10, 2025 · Ivan HuertasI stayed at The Joinery Hotel in Pittsburgh about two years ago, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is perfectly located in a central area, making it easy to explore the city on foot. I loved how close it was to great restaurants, shops, and attractions—everything was just a short walk away, which made it super convenient. I also went to a Penguins game during my stay, and the location couldn't have been better for that! The hotel is just a short Uber ride away from the arena, which made getting to and from the game super easy. No stress about parking or transportation—just a quick, hassle-free ride. I even walked back from the game and it was super quick. The service at The Joinery was excellent from start to finish. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and really went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable. My room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, with plenty of room to relax after a day of sightseeing. It was clear that attention to detail was a priority. What really made this stay stand out was the food scene in the area. There were so many fantastic places to eat nearby, from casual spots to more upscale dining. Whether you're in the mood for a quick bite or a sit-down meal, there’s no shortage of delicious options within walking distance. Overall, The Joinery Hotel provided a wonderful experience. It’s a beautiful property in a great location with plenty to do and see nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and if I’m ever back in Pittsburgh, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
Apr 10, 2025 · Erica CarvalhoChecked in around 6/7pm Sunday 4/13. The young man at valet made sure we had all the details on retrieving the vehicle & was professional. The young lady at the front desk was not very pleasant or welcoming & seemed to be interested in getting back to her phone. The waitress at the restaurant at that time was also not very welcoming or pleasant. Very short, matter of fact responses when we asked either of them something. We decided to leave & eat elsewhere. Room was very small but clean. Beautiful view from the terrace. They may serve drinks up there at some point but it was cold that evening & not something the front desk clerk touched on at check in. No welcome, not told where the restaurant was, what time check out was, that there was a terrace, or where any of the amenities were located (figured that out ourselves). When retrieving the vehicle at check out around 10am 4/14, the gentleman saw us walking out toward the valet stand/car & he asked "is this your car". We said yes & he handed over the key. The ticket should always be verified. He was not working when we checked in so not like he remembered & even if so, still verify the ticket. Walking distance (before dark) to restaurants, a theater, but there are other hotel options in the area that we will try next time & hope for better service.
Apr 14, 2025 · T StewOur room was really small and we had no remote control to utilize the TV but the bed was super comfortable and the room was clean. Listening to vinyls was really cool and I absolutely loved getting to go on the roof top. Parking was $30 if we didn't use VIP. Made unforgettable memories getting to walk around to pop up bars and such.
