Such an elevated experience. Room was clean and updated. The front desk was friendly and inviting. There were additional amenities you could take advantage of. We were visiting for the Boston Marathon and the breakfast spread had themed decorations to commemorate the event. Thoughtful touch! The onsite restaurant had great bartenders, a good drink selection. The food choices were overall good, though I’d say a little bit “expected” or the standard fare. Food was pricey but in my experience what you’d expect for a higher end hotel.

I can't comment on the rooms as I booked their ballroom for a corporate dinner. I worked closely with Nicola who was great. Everyone loved the food, and enjoyed bar service so much I saw a 100$ bill in the tip jar! While there's plenty of space to spread out, due to the L shape it's tough to keep people from bunching up in the main area outside the ballroom. They did a great job getting everything ready at once considering 100+ people got steak. Some of us weren't happy with their steak as there was medium well done. I saw several people accommodated with a more rare steak, and didn't hear any grumbling from the staff. I also went to check out the space the night prior and the front desk staff were very helpful! The common areas are all quite luxurious looking, as well. The hotel is next to a river, it's a very pretty spot. Everyone was nice and did a great job with our group of 200. Shout-out to Bill from the AV team who made everything seamless.

I have already stayed here twice in the past 6 months, 3rd time will be this weekend. I have not had any issues coming here. Valet is always helpful. The hotel is pet friendly for my well behaved pup. A hotel person always gives him lots of treats and my pup is very happy. The restaurant downstairs is great, I like the steak frites. Love Kimpton hotels. I have also tried their breakfast and it was great.

We had such a wonderful experience photographing a wedding at the Harlow Hotel. When our couple originally booked us, none of us knew the venue would be undergoing a renovation but the final result was such a pleasant surprise. The ballroom turned out absolutely stunning, and the outdoor ceremony space, surrounded by willow trees with a direct view of the river, was peaceful, romantic, and so beautiful to capture. A special shoutout to Rachel, the events coordinator for the hotel, who was an absolute angel. She made our lives ten times easier that day and handled everything with so much care and attention. The entire staff was kind and supportive, which always makes such a difference for everyone involved. As wedding photographers, we really appreciate when a venue can do it all. Getting ready spaces, a beautiful ceremony site, cocktail hour, reception, and overnight accommodations … SOLD lol! xoxo - Dominique ( and Javi ) Castillo Holliday Photo + Film

Studio suite during a slow season, really good value. The room was large and corner room view toward the science museum was amazing. Noise transfer through adjoining room door was pretty bad. Request to move was granted. If the hotel had been busier this may have been a real problem but worked out fine on this occasion. Wine hour was great, morning coffee above average. A bit of a walk to the train but not terrible. Employees were all friendly and in general the stay was a joy. My only knock on service was that we made two requests for items to be brought to the room, One of which was bedding for the pullout so we could make it up for our young kid. We had to make a second call well over an hour later. I was told the task had just been started, and the bedding came along not much later. Another request for a fan was faster but still painfully slow compared to what I'm used to. If I had paid the eye-watering rate this place sometimes costs I would find this level of service totally unacceptable but shrugged it off since we didn't. Perhaps during busier and more expensive times of year it is staffed better. I do not see much written about guidance for the self- parking situation. I recommend upon arrival that you drive directly into the garage, which is right next to the entry for the hotel courtyard. It takes you underground and you take a ticket. The parking facility is huge but this entrance puts you right where you need to be and it is serviced by an elevator up to the hotel lobby. Keep your ticket and pay for parking at the hotel desk. You scan your ticket at the gate to get out. Your payment is good up till 3 PM on the day of departure, something we tested by spending most of our departing day in the city, having loaded the car in the morning. Navigating to the hotel by car was less than ideal but not terrible. People used to driving in cities will have no problem. Would return without hesitation if a similar opportunity/value presents itself.
