Apr 24, 2025 · Kelly FavreauRooms are decent nothing to really write home about. Generally they're quite clean, beds are nice. I stayed at this hotel I don't remember what it was called back then but it was 40 years ago and it's been updated some but not a heck of a lot. It's mostly used more than anything else by people who are going to Mass General hospital which is the reason that we used it. The convenience of closeness. The bathrooms are decent the only thing is and this is something that maintenance should be doing is they should send somebody to go room for room and make sure that the shower head stays on the adjustable railing there's a railing there that you can adjust it either high or low and basically in our room you set it and it just sinks right down to the same level as the tub. Other than that it was convenient. The small in-house restaurant actually provides quite a good breakfast. There's entertainment with video screens in the general lounge area so if people get kind of bored they can obviously sit there and watch the sports games. There's plenty of good food nearby so don't feel like you're not going to eat anything at all there's plenty of decent and I mean in some cases outstanding restaurants within walking distance.
Mar 17, 2025 · Tristan James ChandlerThe hotel staff were welcoming and supportive throughout my entire stay, from check in until check out. The proximity to the hospital allowed me to walk back and forth during my sister’s critical days of her surgery. The bartender at the restaurant was friendly and supportive when I would grab a meal after a long day. The hotel was clean and safe.
Mar 21, 2025 · Debra TanguayDisappointing Experience – Especially Compared to the Warmth of Boston I recently visited Boston for the Marathon and was overwhelmed by the kindness and hospitality of the local people—something that stood in stark contrast to the lack of courtesy shown by this hotel. Despite repeated follow-ups, the hotel has failed to refund a $225 USD holding charge, claiming—incorrectly—that all funds have been released. Even their own statement marks the refund as “Partial”, which makes their justification not only absurd but blatantly misleading. This has been the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. If the hotel is going to withhold money, the least they could do is offer a clear, honest explanation. Instead, they provide vague and contradictory responses, with no accountability. This isn’t just about money—it’s about integrity and basic customer respect. I’ll be leaving the same feedback on Google to ensure other potential guests are aware of this behavior.
May 12, 2025 · Brian GoreDryer was broken, shower bar was half broken meaning the curtain didnt close, vending machine was broken, no switch for vent fan in bathroom so everything gets soaked from humidity unless I leave the door open for my family to watch. Really guys, water drips from the ceiling. Valet guys refuse requests to retrieve the car due to "lack of staff" and/or take 45 mins-1 hour to get it. Ice machine loud af. Found someone elses hair in the shower when I got here. Faucets loud enough to rouse the entire building unless you just don't use the downspout at all. Which seems dumb, but really, it's unbearable. Printer in the business center prints half the pages almost unreadable, but at least it's free I guess. The location was great, though, and the rest of the room was clean enough. No off smells or weird stains or anything like that. Gym was also pretty decent and the business center was decent overall. Was also nice having the plaza readily accessible. Honestly, I'd give a higher rating if the transportation issues didnt cost me $50, embarrass me in front of my entire extended family, and entirely ruin two days. Staff were generally pleasant, but this place is absolutely dismally managed.
