Concierge was nice and AC was good. The unit was reasonably clean but the poace was advertised and luxury and it was far from that. You can hear and smell everything from all the surrounding apartments in the unit and hallways are an assault on the senses. The location was relatively convenient but I would opt for a hotel next time. The fitness center doesn't have AC and it's very small with dated equipment. Elevators are also quite slow and occasionally out of service for repair.
Looking for an extended stay apartment in Midtown East? Oakwood at The Nash, located at 222 E 39th St, is part of the 'Hotels Near Of Me' category and offers furnished apartments for longer stays. Recent guest reviews provide a somewhat contrasting view of the property.
One guest appreciated the concierge service and the good air conditioning in their unit. They found the unit to be reasonably clean. However, they felt that the property was advertised as luxury but did not meet that expectation. A significant concern was the lack of sound and odor insulation between apartments, with guests able to hear and smell everything from surrounding units. They also found the hallways to be an "assault on the senses." While the location was considered relatively convenient, this guest indicated they would choose a traditional hotel for their next stay. Additional drawbacks mentioned were the fitness center, which lacks air conditioning, is very small, and has dated equipment, as well as elevators that are quite slow and occasionally out of service for repairs.
On the other hand, another guest had a more positive experience, describing Oakwood at The Nash as the "perfect place to stay for everyone who wants to stay in Manhattan and doesn't want to pay a lot of money." They found the rooms to be really nice and clean. The location was also highlighted for its proximity to major attractions, being a 10-minute distance from the Empire State Building and 20 minutes from Times Square. This guest also reported good service and the availability of a parking area that is not as expensive as some other options in New York.

Jul 02, 2018 · Stefanie RiedelExcellent staff and great location. But the facility is now very tatty under a lick of paint. Showing its age though through poor plumbing, heating and sound proofing. Good mattress though
Feb 22, 2018 · Trevor Books WilkinsOne of the best place in the middle of the big apple to discover this incredible city. We had a very nice and clean apartment with all commodities. Peoples in the lobby were nice and helpful.
Mar 07, 2019 · Alexandre PhilibossianEnjoyed the Hotel. Good idea to rent weekly or monthly rate. Reasonable rate. Every thing needed refrigerator. Gas stove. Coffee. I enjoyed the stay with my wife.
