Super cozy clean rooms, friendly staff in lobby and attentive maid service. You cannot beat this rate for Quarter, just far enough off Bourbon to avoid noise. My room had open view of sky and warehouse building, so no neighbors and I could leave drapes open. Only complaint is hotel old, so you can hear upstairs guests walking around in the AM (granted its almost noon by the time I rise). Overall, my go-to resting place for Jazz Fest every year!

May 07, 2025 · Jeff KroppGreat location in the French quarter and to bourbon street. Zero noise at night which was nice. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Really disappointed with the service upon checking in given all other reviews rave about the staff. We were ignored at the desk whilst the receptionist finished her personal call. She did not greet or welcome us and kept her AirPods in the whole time. Very uncomfortable. The other staff were nice enough to smile when walking past.
Jun 08, 2025 · Matthew MumfordThis hotel is a great location right off Bourbon street. The staff is absolutely amazing and friendly. If it wasn’t for the staff, I would take a star off for the issues we had with the room. We stayed in a suite, which was large and gave us room to spread out. The large bright windows have gaps in them so you can hear everything on the street during a busy Friday and Saturday night. All I can say is BRING EARPLUGS! We got very little sleep on those nights. The decor of the room is nice, but all of the sheers on the windows had rips in them and the windows were filthy. Really hard to see out of them. The ceiling fans were not on and I’m glad they weren’t because they were so dusty, you could see the dust hanging off the blades. We did bring this up to the front desk staff and they immediately asked if we wanted to change rooms, but there are only 2 suites in the hotel, so we declined their offer. A manager called us and apologized profusely, which we appreciated. The cafe that is on-site is lovely, the food was incredible and the staff were very welcoming. I would stay here again, but either an interior room or bring earplugs.
Apr 05, 2025 · leigh berrethI stayed at this hotel for six nights in February. The service is excellent, and the staff especially at the front desk area are extremely kind and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. I was in a room with a large window (that didn't open) facing south of the hotel. I am sensitive to sound. Here was the deal: the walls of the hotel are thin. If other guests are being loud, you will hear them. However, hotel staff preemptively told me to let them know if that happened and they'd deal with it. I didn't have a problem with other guests while I was there--people were a little loud around dinnertime as they got ready to go out, but I didn't hear them come in. Otherwise, despite being less than a block from Bourbon Street, music from the street seemed to be done by 10pm or midnight at the latest. I could definitely hear and feel bass and drum and sometimes singing noise in my room until about then, but with good earplugs, I slept without problems. It was remarkable how quiet the rooms were besides this. I definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay in the French Quarter. You are in the thick of it and the noise is minimal for that proximity. The only negative comment I have is I tried to send a postcard from the hotel's mailbox while I was there, and when I went to put two more postcards in the box two days later, the first card was still there. But I would blame this more on USPS than the hotel itself, so no stars deducted.
Mar 15, 2025 · Emily ReynoldsMy hotel experience was amazing. The rooms were clean, and the staff was fantastic. Even though the hotel is less than a block away from Bourbon Street, I rarely heard any noise from nighttime activities. A big shoutout to Kenyetta; she is so nice and super helpful. I will definitely be staying at this hotel for Mardi Gras next year.
