Good location, and the front desk woman/ check-in was phenomenal! She is truly great at her job... kind, friendly, and made me feel at ease. The rooms were decent, but they need some updates. My main complaint was the fire alarm going off at 1 am. Had to evacuate the hotel, and then it ended up a false alarm. Otherwise, it was a typical hotel, nothing that was extra special about it. I enjoyed my stay and would probably stay here again.

One of the most compelling aspects of the Renaissance New Orleans Arts Warehouse District Hotel is its strategic location. Situated at 700 Tchoupitoulas St, New Orleans, LA 70130, USA, the hotel is perfectly positioned within the vibrant Arts Warehouse District. This neighborhood is renowned for its burgeoning art galleries, upscale dining establishments, and unique boutiques, offering a more contemporary and sophisticated side of New Orleans compared to the historic French Quarter. Accessibility is a key advantage for this hotel. While it offers a more relaxed and less chaotic atmosphere than being directly on Bourbon Street, the French Quarter is still incredibly accessible. This walk can be a pleasant way to soak in the city's unique architecture and street scenes. For those preferring not to walk, ride-sharing services and public transportation options are readily available, connecting the hotel to other parts of the city with ease. The hotel's central location also makes it convenient for accessing major roadways for those driving in from other parts of Louisiana, and it’s a relatively straightforward journey from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). Feb 07, 2025 · Steve DodsonI've stayed here twice now, once in November and again this past weekend, and both times were really good. The front desk team is great - I had a bad experience at another hotel this weekend where they gave away my room, so I booked here last minute bc it was famaliar. Travis at the front desk was so kind and accommodating with our showing up only 10 minutes after booking online. It was around 11pm and we were so tired, and he was just a sweetheart. This hotel is an easy 20 mi walk to Bourbon St, which is fine for me bc I don't need to be in the thick of things like that. The lobby is spacious and the bar/restaurant is cute. The rooms are clean with no odors, and even though they could use a refresh they're faily well kept up with. The water is hot and pressure is good.
Apr 01, 2025 · ToyaClose enough to all the attractions without being so congested that you feel like you just jumped in the middle. I love the lounge and the coffee barista that they have really a nice touch! Overall great value and location.
May 11, 2025 · Reese FI’m ambassador elite with Marriott. Service atrocious. My room wasn’t ready at check in time. They said it would be 30 min. I came back an hour later. Took them 30 minutes to tell me it would be 15 min. After another 30 min, it was ready. They never called me like they said. I had to ask. They offered to let me go to gym or pool in my dress clothes. No offer of a drink or something? Never apologized and acted like I was impatient. Rude attitude. To add insult to injury, the room wasn’t even good. Don’t waste your money here. The JW on Canal is light years better. I’m in a Marriott 150 nights a year so I know. Bottom line: Trash. And, I look forward to the “I hope you’ll give us another chance reponse” to this because I’ll never step foot in this abysmal dump ever again.
Apr 10, 2025 · Brian PauleyVery nice location, walkable to popular areas such as Bourbon St and the Convention center. Rooms are a bit dated and much of the furniture in the rooms while functional was visibly damaged. The AC also did not work in my room which was a little annoying. A lot of the snacks in the shop were also well past expiration date…..
