My goodness. I just can't not believe they don't just shut the hotel down until renovations is done. They did have a sign apologizing for noise but that was way over acceptable notice level. I felt unsafe as they were jackhammering right above my room. I felt like my ceiling was going to collapse on me. Their elevator was down for repair on top of it so it took forever to go up and down. I was trying to have a video call in the room and it was so noisy that was not possible. Everyone I ran into in the elevator were all complaining about the noise and construction. My overall experience was absolutely horrible and watch the video to listen to the noise level. This morning there was NO HOT WATER! I was very happy that Sang Kee is there which I had few times during my stay.

Apr 17, 2025 · Min ParkThere is constant drilling noise during the week due to the fact that the hotel is under renovation (the rooms are dated and overpriced). My room is still 430 dollars a night which is outrageous considering the drilling noises and it's even supposed to be a special rate. This hotel chain is clearly still trying to cash in despite poor conditions for guest and for this reason I will boycott this hotel chain in the future. Special note for housekeeping which is very good.
May 07, 2025 · A. Z.$40 valet parking with no other parking options. Limited amenities. There's a dim sum restaurant in the lobby but no complimentary breakfast. No breakfast at all really because the restaurant wasn't open yet. I had to go to the Wawa across the street. Everything else was ok, except for the obnoxious construction noise during the day, (which they do warn guests about). But my room was clean, and the staff were nice. It was fine for an in and out one night stay close to where I needed to be in the morning. It's only a 15 minute walk from UPenn campus. Just way too expensive for what you get. Location is good but that's basically all you're paying for. Don't expect much else.

I wish we had gotten the names of all the staff members, but the front desk agent on Christmas night, as well as the front desk agent on the night of 12/29 were both so helpful and kind. The cleaning staff are also very kind and accommodating. Probably one of the most friendly and kind staff we have seen at any of our marriott stays (over 80 nights/year). The room we were in was fantastic. I can see it being a bit older, but nothing in the suite had any problems or issues. Everything was very clean and well kept. They are doing construction so there was a slight bit of noise in the mornings, but not early, around 10am. The club lounge is definitely a great plus. Well stocked with lots of drinks, water, and fruit.

My biggest complaint is that my car was scratched by a valet driver at the hotel, which I didn't realize until after I left. (Note taken to always look over your car when the valet returns your car.) I called and left several messages. They've done NOTHING to resolve my issue. I'll never stay at this hotel again.
