This hotel is in a great location but would not recommend and not going back. Rooms on the top floors are very noisy from the club on the weekends. We had to switch rooms due to this. Rooms are not clean. Dust and dirt in the corners and found a small blood stain on the white bed sheets. My biggest complaint about this hotel was being charged for an item that was never taken from the mini bar in the room. They originally told us that someone ordered a bottle of champagne to the room and then told us someone used a bottle of tequila when we were charged $100+ on the final bill. Basically being called a liar from the assistant manager was very disappointing. The front desk staff were all amazing! They were all very welcoming, friendly and accommodating.

SIXTY SoHo Introduce

Nestled in the heart of New York City's vibrant SoHo district, SIXTY SoHo offers a unique blend of style and convenience. Situated at 60 Thompson Street, this luxury hotel is just minutes away from world-renowned attractions like the High Line, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), and some of Manhattan's best shopping and dining destinations. SIXTY SoHo is designed to cater to both discerning travelers and local residents seeking a sophisticated yet approachable place to stay.

One of the standout features of SIXTY SoHo is its prime location, making it an ideal base for exploring all that New York City has to offer. The hotel's proximity to public transportation, including the 1, 2, 3, and L trains, ensures easy access to major parts of the city. Additionally, the hotel's central location places it in the midst of cultural hotspots, art galleries, and culinary delights.

When it comes to guest experiences, SIXTY SoHo emphasizes a personalized approach. The front desk staff has been consistently praised for their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to accommodate guests' needs. Whether arranging for a late check-in or providing recommendations for nearby attractions, the staff at SIXTY SoHo goes above and beyond to ensure a seamless stay.

The hotel's rooms and suites are designed with modern aesthetics in mind, blending minimalist decor with cozy comforts. However, it's important to note that the rooms are on the smaller side, which has been both a pro and a con for some guests. While the compact size contributes to a sleek, urban feel, it may not be ideal for those seeking more space or traditional amenities. The lack of sitting areas in the rooms is another point worth considering for potential guests.

Unfortunately, SIXTY SoHo has faced criticism regarding its housekeeping standards and noise levels. Several guests have reported finding dust and dirt in their rooms, with some even discovering stains on bed linens. Additionally, the hotel's location in a lively area means that top-floor rooms can be particularly noisy during weekends due to nearby clubs and entertainment venues. Guests who are looking for a quiet retreat or sensitive to noise may want to consider these factors before booking.

Pricing at SIXTY SoHo is on the higher end, with some guests noting that the cost per room per night (over $1000) feels steep given the limited space and amenities. While luxury accommodations in New York City can be pricey, some visitors have suggested that there are more affordable options available that offer similar or better value for money.

  • Proximity to Attractions: SIXTY SoHo's central location makes it an excellent choice for exploring Manhattan's top sights.
  • Luxury and Style: The hotel offers a sleek, modern design with a focus on contemporary decor.
  • Exceptional Staff Service: Front desk personnel have been universally praised for their friendliness and attentiveness.
  • Noise Concerns: Guests staying in top-floor rooms during weekends may encounter noise from nearby entertainment venues.
  • Cleanliness Issues: Some guests have reported finding dust, dirt, and even stains in their rooms.
  • Pricing: The hotel's rates are on the higher side, with some guests feeling it may not be worth the cost for the space and amenities provided.

In summary, SIXTY SoHo is a stylish option for travelers looking to stay in the heart of New York City. Its prime location, coupled with a focus on personalized service, makes it an attractive choice for many visitors. However, guests should be aware of potential noise issues and consider whether the hotel's pricing aligns with their expectations given the amenities offered.

We went overnight this past Saturday. We had two rooms for the family. The rooms are clean but very small and nothing to right home about by any means. At $1000 per room for one night with no parking there are MUCH better options. I repeat $1000 per night per room for 300 square feet with no frills or sitting areas.

Awesome Hotel. We had an amazing stay. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. The location of the hotel is perfect for tourists. The only problem was, that there was some sort of party below our room each night (in the hotel bar I believe) which made falling asleep a bit harder.

Beautiful hotel in a fun, cool neighbourhood within minutes walk of loads of restaurants, cafes, and things to do. The rooms are beautiful and clean, even if a bit small, and the bathrooms are excellent. There’s a good restaurant and a trendy bar attached, if you feel like staying nearby. Service was friendly.

Hotel room average but clean. Two issues here We were woken up at 3 am either people visiting the roof top bar or unruly guests, who thought it would be funny go bang on everyones door at 3 am wheres the security? who's monitoring this for such a upscale hotel? Mainly, my biggest disappointment was when the hotel staff refused to call us a cab upon check out??? With luggage ??I was in disbelief and shocked quit frankly, unfortunately we wont be returning to this hotel again for these reasons......
