I had the pleasure of staying at Arlo Soho, and I couldn't be more impressed with my experience. From the moment I arrived, Al, the receptionist, made a lasting impression with his exceptional service. Not only was he friendly and welcoming, but he also upgraded my room to something even more spacious and comfortable than I expected, which truly made my stay feel special. The hotel itself has a great vibe, with a modern and stylish design that feels both cozy and sophisticated. I was also delighted to check out Linden, the on-site restaurant. As someone who prefers plant-based options, I was thrilled by the variety of vegan and plant-based dishes they offered. Each meal was bursting with flavor, and you could really tell they use high-quality ingredients. Overall, Arlo Soho provided a fantastic experience, and Al's personalized service made it stand out even more. I highly recommend both the hotel and Linden if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed!

Mar 25, 2025 · DanuelleMy friend and I visited NYC for spring break and we primarily chose this hotel due to location and reviews. The hotel overall looks nice and is well decorated. I also liked the inclusion of the small convenience store. Our flight landed way before check in time so luckily we were able to store our bags at the hotel. The room itself is really small and I mean both my friend and I are pretty short but I kept banging my shin on the bed frame trying to move to and from the bed. Also I do wish the bathroom had more privacy. The door is just a sliding door and the walls are windows that are slightly blurred. The first day was nice and everything was clean, but the second and last day it seemed like housekeeping did the absolute bare minimum. Our shower ended up clogging during our stay and the cups were never cleaned. Also the rooftop bar was only opened the night we arrived and the restaurant closed early during our stay so I was disappointed that we didn’t have that many food options. The food and drinks from the bodega were over priced in my opinion because why is a small coke $6 and only comes in a glass bottle. The foxtail bar was great I loved the ambience and the drinks were tasty. I would say it’s probably better staying here by yourself and only for a short time. I’m not sure I would want to come back here in the future. It wasn’t bad and location is great, but when it did come down to amenities it just seemed a little disappointing.
Mar 18, 2025 · Hattie CreechGreat experience. Alessandro’s energy was incredible from the moment we stepped into the hotel - he looked after our luggage while we explored pre check in and his service was delivered with sincerity and kindness. The other hotel staff were also great! Sorted us with a room with great views. Our room was clean, well equipped with all the essentials - fresh towels etc every day. The hotel services/amenities had everything we needed. Fresh food, coffees, bars - rooftop bar especially was a beautiful. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
Feb 25, 2025 · Ailsa CI’ve stayed at a lot of hotels, but Arlo SoHo stands out not just for its aesthetic and vibe, but because of the amazing service—especially from Jonathan, who was both my server and bartender during my stay. He was incredibly personable, attentive, and made the whole experience feel elevated without being over-the-top. We had a great conversation, and he even recommended coming back in the summer when the energy is next-level. Safe to say, I’m already planning my return. If you’re lucky enough to have Jonathan taking care of you, you’re in for a great time.
Mar 26, 2025 · Tommy BFrom the moment I walked in I said YES. Great staff, very cool, the people I want to interact with, absolutely no BS. Rooms are cozy and quiet and everything works 10/10. Beautiful lobby with shared spaces to sit and chill, bar and restaurant inside. Arlo Soho is 5min walk to the 1 train at Canal st to uptown. Extra safe. Cant get any easier than that. Worth it
