Great location, helpful staff, tired building and the elevators weren't working for a few days. I've stayed there twice and never seen both elevators running. Gym in the basement is a hidden gem. The fan heater bolted to the wall under the window sounds like a hovercraft. Given the location and the gym, I think I would stay there again. No restaurant to speak of so that's a bit depressing. Roxy hotel down the road is great for dinner though.

Mar 25, 2025 · David CoombsThis hotel is nice. Much quieter than anywhere else in NYC. The police station being across the street is also a plus. Rooms are clean and the maid service is nice. As far as service goes, the only reason I have rated it a five is because of mahliek. He is wonderful. He gave us directions and answered all of our questions with a happy face. He truly seemed to enjoy his job and interacting with customers! He deserves a promotion and a raise! Others simply rolled their eyes and answered, I don't know. I hope this review is received by the people that need to know!

Mar 18, 2025 · Amy MintonGreat location for restaurants, bars, and shopping. The hotel is conveniently located about half a block from a subway entrance, making it easy to get around. We stayed on the second floor, and while the location was great, the shower water wasn’t very hot, which my wife wasn’t happy about after spending the day in 30-degree weather. This issue persisted for all three nights. Additionally, from the 1st and 2nd floors, you can faintly hear the subway. It didn’t bother us at all, but those sensitive to noise may want to request a higher floor.
Mar 11, 2025 · Riley WTerrible experience! Water was dripping from the ceiling and plaster fell on my bed. Hopefully I was in the bathroom when that happened. Nobody compensated me about it of course because the booking was from third part company. They give a discount and not full refund as they told. Too expensive for nothing. Don’t waste your money on them.
