Staff were friendly and attended to our needs. The hotel is also right next to a NYPD station making it a safe place. The rooms are pretty cute with an interesting design. However, The furniture was extremely run down with chips and cracks and the rooms had trouble blocking out noise. Every time the elevator came by I could hear it and could also hear other people’s conversation in the hallway. Overall though, not a bad experience

Apr 04, 2025 · Kevin ZhaoDISGUSTING hotel. Save yourself the horror and DO NOT stay here. I’ve never stayed at a nastier hotel. We had ask to change our room, but the room we got in return wasn’t any better. _Black mold_ all over the shower (unfortunately can’t attach the video where u can see all of it), floors chipping, leaky sink, shower leaks onto the actual room floor, not clean in places where people usually wouldn’t look, like behind bedside tables. Cracked ceilings. Cheap, dirty, stained and chipped furniture. the elevator is in a nasty state, don’t think they’ve ever cleaned it and according to the elevator inspection certificate that’s in the elevator (added a picture) it was last serviced/ inspected in 2022. You can hear everything from everywhere so the sound cancellation in rooms are a joke. Staff is rude and stink of weed and don’t even get me started on the loud music coming from their rooftop bar until late hours. So if you need to be up early, you can forget about going to sleep early. If i could rate it -5 stars, i would.
Nov 14, 2024 · Kirsika BernatosThe room I booked had no windows at all (this wasn't disclosed when booking) and a bathroom that was essentially inside the room with no privacy at all. Bed sheets were clearly not clean and underneath the sheet was disgusting and covered in stains. and on top of this we could hear the lobby very clearly throughout the night. for $169 a night this is abysmal I strongly recommend against this place.
Mar 22, 2025 · Dexter BahlAt one point, this was a really good and unique hotel with its furniture decor and design but has since gone downhill. During my last stay, the bathtub was chipped in various places, there were plastic shards in the carpet (probably from the tub), mold on the curtain, and the water leaked out on the floor from the shower. The thermostat is preset so you can't change the temp and there's a mini space heater in the closet for a customer to plug in if they get cold. Could the management be any cheaper? The entire building is in need of serious renovations and clean up. Despite this, the upstairs bar is still active playing loud music on a Monday night keeping me awake with the overbearing bass. How about the hotel focus their funds on the maintenance and upkeeping instead of late night parties? Just an idea. Picture the ski lodge, from Hot Tub Time Machine, in the time the characters first went there in comparison to when they came back. That'll give you an idea of how this place went from a unique gem to absolute trash.
Feb 24, 2025 · Iroquois PliskenIf you want a story to tell your friends and family when you get home. If you want a pleasant experience do not stay here. The staff are rude and uninterested. When we arrived we knew that we were too early to check in and were fine with waiting. They offered for us to leave our bags in an open area. Next to a door that was unlocked by a main road. When we got back the room type we had booked wasn't available (we booked around six months ago). So they upgraded us to the suite for the night. When we went inside the room half of the lights weren't functioning as they should and the shower head only had half of the amount of water coming out. We were then moved to another room as there was a wedding party staying in there. They then offered us the spot by open door to leave our bags. We ended up finding a solution by storing our bags in the room we were moving to whilst it was being cleaned. The bath was dirty and the air vent above the shower was hanging from the ceiling. The WiFi in both rooms didn't work 90% of the time. The air con was so loud that it sounded like an engine was going in the room sometimes.
