We especially appreciate the helpfulness and attentiveness of the front desk staff. They were always happy to assist us.

When booking over the phone, we were promised a king bed, but at check-in, we were given a room in the basement with a full-size bed. When we asked for another room, the staff claimed there were no other rooms available—only to suddenly offer a new room after we pointed out we booked a king bed. That was the first lie. The second lie happened when we asked for a late check-out. They agreed to an extension for an additional fee over the phone, but at 11 AM, they knocked on our door and demanded we leave. When we explained the arrangement, the receptionist denied it ever happened. The condition of the room was terrible: hair in the shower drain and on the pillow from previous guests, no hot water, a hole in the shower curtain, raggedy towels, and no slippers. The walls by the window were deteriorating, the window and closet were filthy, and there was no soundproofing. Also, one of the lamp switch was broken, so we couldn’t even turn it on! We could hear everything from the street and even hear the next room having sex—very loudly. To top it off, the room reeked of weed and cigars. This hotel is run-down, dirty, and the staff is dishonest. Avoid at all costs!
