DO NOT get the shuttle service from the hotel. The driver got on and off the Hwy multiple times through neighborhoods. It took us twice the amount of time to get to the airport. With an hr and a half to spare for security. Any other day of the week we would have missed our flight for sure. The concierge told us the shuttle would stop at 1 other hotel we stopped at 4. The driver asked for tips both getting on the shuttle and off the shuttle, the signs say "Tips Appreciated " not tips demanded. We would have tipped more without a demand. The elevators are overcrowded at all times of day and its quicker to take stairs. The room was comfortable but the air conditioning is set at 68 for the lowest point making even the 450sq ft difficult to keep cool. Staff was friendly and attentive. Location was amazing , few blocks from time square , delicious food, broadway attractions and night scene.

Mar 31, 2025 · Michellae BelnapOverall quite a pleasant stay. Very friendly & helpful folks at the front desk. Breakfast buffet is pretty decent, with a greater number of offerings than one would expect for this class of hotel. The eggs, though, are a crime against Man and Nature. 'Twas nice to have salad every day but other veggies would be great. Not too crowded anytime I was down there.
Dec 24, 2024 · Adam LasnikWe had a wonderful stay! The room was comfortable and well-maintained, with plenty of food options nearby, making the location ideal. Upon arrival, Susan was there to check us in, even as the hotel was updating lights. Despite the busy atmosphere, she was incredibly friendly and patient, walking us through every detail and ensuring we felt welcome. Each day, she answered our questions with warmth and helpfulness, making our stay even more enjoyable. Huge thanks to Susan for all her help – she truly made our experience memorable!
Nov 10, 2024 · MartinCentrally located hotel with easy access to everything. Passable breakfast, but why would you if you have all of flushing at your fingers. Cleanliness is very questionable. Every single glass cup in my room was dirty and greasy. I had a terrible allergic reaction to their bedding and pillow. I travel 10-12 times/30 nights in hotels every year for work, and never had a reaction like this. I am still suffering now almost a week later. I had to request the front desk 3 times before they changed the bedding. No compensation was offered.
Jan 03, 2025 · Si ChenMy wedding party stayed at the Hyatt Place for my wedding in December 2024. While our initial coordination with the manager was promising, several issues on the wedding day made the experience less than ideal. One key arrangement we discussed was coning off a designated area for the limo driver to pick up the bridal party. Unfortunately, this was not done, creating a chaotic and stressful situation during pick-up. Additionally, some of the rooms assigned to our party smelled strongly of marijuana, forcing us to request room changes—a significant inconvenience on such an important day. We were also promised extra chairs to accommodate hair and makeup preparations, but these were never delivered despite follow-ups. On a positive note, the staff who helped us book our room block and provided a tour of the facilities were attentive and helpful during the planning process. However, the execution on the day of the wedding did not meet the standards we had been led to expect.
