The Pierre Hotel could be one of NYC’s finest—great location, lovely property—but the front desk and management’s utter refusal to fix guest problems ruin it. Two stays, two disasters. March: a week of cold showers despite multiple calls; management just talked, never acted. April: booked for three via ADP/Expedia, got a king bed and non-pullout couch. After endless arguments, management wouldn’t waive a $350 fee for an extra bed, blaming everyone but themselves. They don’t care about guests—just excuses. Elevator and room service staff are great, but the front desk? Zero stars. I’m taking my May and July bookings to The Plaza.

Apr 07, 2025 · WaxhobbyWhile out shopping & visiting the park, we made it a point to stop in & visit this iconic hotel. My husband Wanted to " take a peak"...his grandfather ran security back in the Hollywood set days...had a great cocktail & charcuterie at the restaurant bar...the service was! excellent...we plan to make it a point to stay there in the future!
Apr 07, 2025 · Darle DigneyWe had a beautiful weekend stay at the Pierre! Everyone was so lovely, & friendly & welcoming. Room service was fabulous, housekeeping was fantastic & turn down service was lovely! The restaurant (Perrine) was gorgeous, food was amazing! The view from our room was to die for! Rooms were super clean, & beautifully organized! Our little one enjoyed his stay, kudos for the availability of the crib for our little one :) all the staff were super pleasant especially when interacting with our son! He especially loved his little gifts of bears upon arrival! 🥰 We will absolutely be back for a longer stay next time.
Jan 21, 2025 · Carolyn GibeauAll in all a very nice experience at the hotel. The room was nice and spacious and the location is great. The staff were also nice and attentive. Granted, we didn’t purchase a Central Park view room, but the only view out of the windows was other buildings. The food also seemed very overpriced to me even for New York.
Mar 08, 2025 · David TrombelloThis five star rating for service is inadequate. Should be six out of five! From the concierge staff who were all courteous and helped us find things and print boarding passes for us, to the elevator operator who all, always had a smile. The housekeeping staff, whom we never saw, did a remarkable job. Cleaning and tidying as well as turn down in the evening. A fresh bottle of water on each side of the bed. It was a luxurious experience from beginning to end.
