Stayed here using my chase sapphire reserve, and I might have to stay here every time I go to NYC now! The staff was AMAZING and stunning! Everyone was soo cool, from even before I arrived, I spoke with Rudy on the phone when I was between hotels, and his hospitality SOLD ME! I arrived at 7am because I took a redeye and was not expecting to get a room, but this beautiful lady at the front desk (so mad I don’t remember her name) she had glasses and braids I think, somehow got me in a room by 8am, I almost cried! The room was STUNNING! The location was SUPERIOR! They had a shower that had a steam room function, which I used every day! We got the free breakfast with my card and ate at their delicious restaurant everyday, ended up never even having to get lunch while in New York because breakfast filled us up! I’m just so happy with the service at the front, the housekeeping, the restaurant staff, 5 across the board!

Feb 26, 2025 · Jasmine MoshSo the late night staff was the absolute worst I've experienced. She was rude. Dismissive. Asked me to describe the staff that told me they would message me when my room was ready. Excuse me, why would I 'rat' out staff that tried To do their job but the hotel didn't do their job? Waited 12 hours for my room To be ready. Arrived at 11am. Way too early, obviously. Told me they would contact me when my room was ready nothing. 12 hours later, I got yelled at for
Feb 28, 2025 · Leslie EchinoFor the price, I expected more especially being recommended by Amex. House keeping knocked on our doors multiple times at 8:29 and 10am even with the do not disturb sign on all the days we were there. The bed is so far from the headboard that your pillow falls in the crack and the bed cannot be moved. Our thermostat would run at 88 but never get warm - like not even close to 88. The location is nice being closer to a subway entry and exit. The bed was also incredibly cheap and worn as was our bathroom- the nozzle would not point straight down and had water spraying all different directions. However - the location is ideal if you’re planning to explore the East village. But overall I wish I’d stayed somewhere else. Take note of the recent negative reviews a lot of the positive ones are for the restaurant bar or wrong hotel location. Rooms are also so so so tiny - just stay somewhere else for the cost.

Mar 01, 2025 · Luis Manuel AlvarezOK, tried to get a room at The Standard via Hotel Tonight. When I got to the Standard at 9 PM, they said the $238 room was unavailable, but they had one for $660. Sorry, but that's a scam. I went to a different chain hotel and had a great room for $140.
