SIXTY LES is a solid hotel if you're younger, or have an active social life. The rooms are fairly modern with a bit of a Soho edge. Note that with the social club this isn't a quiet hotel. My room was near the elevator banks and the doors are fairly standard (meaning you'll hear people in the banks if they're talking). I'll be returning for the service. Special shout outs to Joseph, Destiny, Lamar, and a bearded gentleman I didn't get the name of who works evenings/nights. Friendly, accommodating, everything I want when staying at a hotel. Thanks a bunch, looking forward to another stay next month.
SIXTY LES Hotel is a unique and stylish accommodation option situated in the trendy Lower East Side of New York City. This boutique hotel offers a vibrant atmosphere and a perfect blend of modern comfort and urban charm, making it a favorite among both leisure travelers and business guests. With its prime location at 190 Allen St, SIXTY LES Hotel is just a short walk away from some of NYC's most iconic landmarks, including the Brooklyn Bridge, SoHo, and Tribeca.
The hotel caters to a diverse crowd, particularly those with an active social life or younger travelers seeking an energetic vibe. The property features a mix of trendy and modern rooms that reflect the neighborhood's artistic edge. While some guests have noted that the hotel isn't entirely quiet due to its lively social scene and proximity to elevator noise, many appreciate the convenient location and the opportunity to experience the vibrant culture of the Lower East Side.
One of the standout features of SIXTY LES Hotel is its attentive staff, who are known for their caring and accommodating nature. Guests frequently praise the front desk team for going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The hotel also offers access to a rooftop pool with stunning city views, though be aware that there may be an additional fee. However, some guests have mentioned that the pool area can sometimes be less than ideal, so it's worth confirming its condition upon arrival.
Location-wise, SIXTY LES Hotel is unparalleled. Situated in one of NYC's most eclectic neighborhoods, guests are surrounded by a wealth of dining options, boutique shops, and cultural attractions. Whether you're exploring the historic sites of the Lower East Side or heading to nearby attractions like the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, this hotel provides an ideal base for your NYC adventure.
In summary, SIXTY LES Hotel is a fantastic option for travelers seeking a boutique-style experience in the heart of New York City. While it may not be the quietest hotel, its vibrant atmosphere, attentive staff, and central location make it an ideal choice for those looking to immerse themselves in the city's culture and energy.

Feb 17, 2025 · Jonathan SchwimmerThe hotel’s rating wasn’t high, and I hesitated a bit before booking. However, it turned out to be much better than I expected. The front desk staff were very caring and attentive to our needs. Although the hotel is a bit old, our room had a great view. Standing by the large floor-to-ceiling windows gave a sense of openness. The room was spacious, and I had no complaints about that. However, it felt slightly less clean than I would have liked—not to say it wasn’t cleaned properly, but the marble materials may have made it seem more worn. Since I was traveling with a child, they gave us a room near the elevator (perhaps the elevator noise helps mask a toddler’s crying?). The downside was that the room wasn’t very quiet; we could hear the sound of the elevator going up and down and doors opening. The location is excellent, with lots of boutiques in the Lower East Side. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was for the pool, for which there was an additional $40 fee at check-in. However, to my surprise, the pool was full of moths during August in NYC, their bodies floating everywhere, which made it unusable. That explained why no one was at the pool on such a beautiful day. Another issue was the shower in the bathroom. I couldn’t figure out how to get hot water, and since it was late at night, I didn’t want to make a call to the front desk (although I’m sure they would have helped). Given the warm weather in August, I managed with a cold shower, but it wasn’t an ideal experience.
Oct 02, 2024 · Tribecca ChoiWe loved the location! Close to the F train subway station. Great restaurants just around the corner, the staff was very helpful, and the cleaning ladies went above and beyond. Spacious room with a beautiful view. Thank you Sixty LES for an amazing vacation!
Dec 28, 2024 · MistyI booked a junior suite room here on Saturday for my significant others birthday. I called the night before to see if they would be able to accommodate an early check in so I could decorate the hotel room , as that was a part of my surprise. The woman I spoke to on the phone, Destiny had no problem assisting me with this. She told me to call back in the morning to see if the room was available. When I did call back the next morning , she instantly remembered me by name as well which I was impressed by. She also was able to accommodate me which i really appreciated. The room was very clean , spacious and well put together , not to mention a nice view. Entire design of the hotel was nice as well , including the fact that they have a bar with music on the 7th floor. Only downside is I wish the pool was open , but of course being that I went in the winter i knew it wouldn’t be possible. Still a great stay, very friendly staff at the front desk and a good location ! Shoutout to Destiny !! She was great 💜
