The good: location and transportation- you can be at Times Square or the UN in minutes. Night staff gent is awesome! Super helpful. Rooftop deck has awesome views. Snacks provided at front desk. My room had a fridge and microwave. I needed a desk, but appreciated the fridge. Groceries, drugstore and good food eateries are all around. The not so good: room was tiny, overheated and climate control did not work. Front desk got me a box fan. Neighborhood is a hotbed for ambulances running loud sirens. WiFi did not work or worked poorly at best. No housekeeping. Room next door indulged in heavy pot-smoking, which stunk up the entire hall. Excellent night staff guy handled it- much appreciated! It’s a great option for a budget stay in NYC.

Mar 15, 2025 · Sharon ByrneIt was a nice hotel, but everything is done online and thus lacks any personality. The room was "tight," but the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. There was no coffee in the room. On Saturday night after midnight, the noise on the street was nonstop, and I was not able to sleep until 3 am.
Mar 27, 2025 · Stergios LazosWe have booked an 18sqm double bed room which turns out to be the size of a broom chamber. The bed is not the size of a standard double bedroom, it’s barely impossible for two adults to occupy the room together, let alone walk around the bed. There is damage across the room, the AC doesn’t operate in “winter” (Mid March) we have to open the window every few hours to let cool air in. Cables hanging out, damaged furniture. Would not recommend this place. The night staff do simply not care and tell you to come back in the morning to speak to another staff. Very disappointing, also as we had to pre-pay for five nights and no choice other than to stay here.
Mar 21, 2025 · Nadine WursterDreadful hotel. Unfortunately, I was given one of the only rooms located in the lobby—right next to the entrance and the coffee machine (see photo). This space should never have been turned into a guest room. Unsurprisingly, my converted broom cupboard was incredibly noisy, and I barely got any sleep. I could hear every guest entering the hotel, as well as the security guard talking on his phone in the middle of the night. To make matters worse, the room was unbearably stuffy due to a faulty climate control system. Most of the staff were extremely rude, though I can almost forgive them—having to work in this place every day must be miserable. That said, you get what you pay for, and this is certainly a cheap place to stay. But even at a low price, I wouldn’t recommend it.
Mar 25, 2025 · Josh TomlinsonMy brother and I stayed for one night, we rented one of the smallest rooms with bunk beds, but it was just what we needed for the night. We found it to be surprisingly quiet while we were there on a Saturday night. we slept well, undisturbed. The shower had great water pressure and stayed hot. The room and bathroom were nice and clean. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in Manhattan again. Convenient location for us with plenty of good food, shops, parking near by and a whole foods close by.
