I am so excited to see what this hotel has in store under new ownership. They just opened their brand new restaurant (I was lucky enough to be the first guest!), and the rooms have the most incredible views. The neighborhood is perfect for a fun weekend in the city with easy access to so many things. The best part of the hotel was the service. Karina and Amanda were both so patient and accommodating, they were so much nicer to me than I would have been! While there are still some kinks they are working out like getting the elevators running more efficiently and ensuring all the rooms are up to standard, I really think this hotel is the perfect little gem in the city- I almost want to gate keep it for myself!

The staff was kind, courteous, and accommodating if asked. We had an excellent view from our room, and the location met our needs. Tons of bars, restaurants, and amenities just out the door plus easy walkable access to downtown and subways to uptown, Brooklyn, and beyond if desired. Would recommend and would stay again.

A lovely Hotel in a very convenient location! The staff is accommodating and attentive, great service. Elevator maintenance and inconsistent heating in the rooms were the cons of the stay. Regardless I highly recommend and will visit soon

I had high expectations given the high room price (we paid ~$600 for 1 night), but I was underwhelmed in the end. The hotel clearly used to be really nice but you can see they haven't maintained it well, and now it looks kind of shabby. The room had nice views but was poorly designed (e.g. only 1 side table which was also out of reach of the bed, lighting is bad). It was also quite cold and the heating was very loud. They charge $75 for late checkout which seems excessive given the room price. I ordered prosecco for our arrival and it arrived late and had not been properly chilled. There is no minibar, snacks or even water in the room, there was only 1 robe and the toilet handle and shower head were broken. Not huge problems, but again, I expect more from such a supposedly high end place. The staff seemed friendly and overall things were OK, but I think they should lower their rates, or else pay more attention to maintenance, service and details.

What absolute horror! Firstly, I tried to modify my stay by calling them and nobody answered the phone. Upon arrival, they had said that we could modify the room dates and said they DID, only to find out that they hadn't when i was forced to leave. Upon checkin the safe was broken as well as the window. It took them two nights to actually come and fix it. On the Saturday of my stay a couple of days before intending on leaving we found a large amount of cockroaches in the room. When we immediately gathered our things to leave they said they would take care of it for us and refund. Obviously, they didn't. This has been an absolute shit show. I have proudly stay at this hotel for almost 15 years but after covid the hotel is a disaster. Staff is untrained and overall a huge problem.
