My wife, son, and I moved from a “fancy” hotel to Blu Moon after one night, and we were very happy we did. It’s a perfect location, beautiful building, great security and service, and the owner is a great guy. It’s very much like having your own apt in the city, but with the added benefit of really great folks to give you advice. For my family, it was perfect. Will certainly return.

Mar 18, 2025 · David AyersGreat place to stay, friendly staff and in a great neighbourhood with lots of cafes, bars on the doorstep. We slept 4 in a room which was a decent size, very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Super easy check in, fantastic location with great bars, shopping and food all within a few blocks. Easy, no frills, laid back. We’re not the type of people to hang at the hotel very long so we didn’t need any amenities. Go out and explore!

But between the Jewish themed art and the names of the rooms ('40s! Vaudeville!), not to mention the Kosher restaurant attached, it feels like a really interesting slice of NYC that's quickly vanishing.
