Staff was nice and accommodating. It’s very quiet. I had no issues with water as other comments mention. It’s clean. It’s not much bigger than a closet. I’d say about 150 sqft in total space including bath and that’s being generous. Rooftop is just a roof and nothing more but it does have cool views

Let’s get the obvious out of the way first: if you’re looking for a trendy hotel in the heart of the LES, you’ve found your spot. Views, convenience, and affordability are all top-tier. What won me over about Orchard St, however, is the service. My second night in I returned to find the swing bar lock had engaged from the inside. Don’t ask me how…I don’t know. After trying to shimmy the bar open with a plastic card (has that ever worked for anybody?) for about ten minutes, I returned to the lobby — hat in hand and tail between my legs. That’s when Reuben stepped in. He unfolded from the couch and took over like a champ. And this was no easy task. We tried wires, we tried screwdrivers, we tried brute force…all to no avail. Mind you — this is 12 o’clock at night. After about a hour, the manager sent over a tool made especially for situations like this (apparently this happens a lot), and Reuben was able to jimmy the door open. Weekend saved. He turned and walked away with a nonchalant ‘Get some sleep,’ as he disappeared into the night. I got some sleep.

Good place to stay in a trip to NYC. Close to subway. Staff is attentive and nice. It's clean and have really nice view on the 11 floor. The only problem is in weekends its in a place surrounded by bars (nice bars, go out there and have a drink!) so it's a lil bit noisy. Overall, I really like it!

Just checked out after a long weekend stay. Friendly staff but Crystal who checked us in, is the MVP. Super friendly and engaging. Gave us tips on what to see, where to eat and just genuinely set the tone for a great stay. Room was small but clean and adequate. The view….AMAZING. Location was perfect as we wanted to experience staying in the LES as opposed to midtown. Plenty to see, options to eat, etc. would definitely recommend and would book again.

Was moved to this hotel after the management company couldn't find our reservation at the Redford Hotel. The room in this hotel was the worst. It was the size of the bed, legit zero room outside of the bed. The room was freezing and extremely loud from the street and we were on the 8th floor. The cleanliness of the room was foul. The bathroom and towels were covered in someone else's hair. The bed was beat up and covered in black fuzz. Do not stay here
