The hotel was fine. You pay for the location (freeman alley) from what I can tell but that seems to be about it. When I was there the coffee shop on the main floor only operates during breakfast time, so if you want to work downstairs (like most people do at other hotels catering to digital nomads/artist etc). You have no options for coffee drinks after 1030ish- they have an (overpriced) shop on the ground floor thats 24/7 if you want a bottle of sparking water for $10 and no room service. The communal water kettle, ironing board and iron were always missing from closet on the floor I was on- while a great idea for a hostel, Id expect one in my room if staying in a hotel over 3 stars. Gym was super small relative to other hotels in this price range. My view from the small window in my room was of a brick wall which I expect in NYC if I was at a 1-2 star hotel. Compared to hotels of a similar price range- CitizenM, Public, Ace, etc I was a surprise at how much it felt more like a hostel or discount place. I found this hotel lacked a lot of the basics Id expect in this price range that the competition offers as a default (conditioner, a shower door, kettle in the room etc). I'd stay here again if it was discounted or cheaper but for the price point I'll likely go back to Public, Ace or CitizenM next time.

Untitled at 3 Freeman Alley Introduce

Looking for a hotel in a prime Lower East Side location in New York City? Consider Untitled at 3 Freeman Alley. As part of the 'Hotels Near Of Me' category, this hotel offers accommodation in a notable alley known for its ambiance. Guest reviews provide mixed perspectives on the experience.

One guest felt the hotel was "fine" and that the price primarily reflected the location in Freeman Alley. They noted that the coffee shop on the main floor only operates during breakfast hours, which might be inconvenient for guests wanting to work downstairs with coffee later in the day. While there is a 24/7 shop on the ground floor, it was described as overpriced, with a $10 charge for a bottle of sparkling water, and no room service is available. The communal water kettle, ironing board, and iron were reportedly often missing from the floor closet, which the guest found more akin to a hostel setup than a 3-star hotel. The gym was also described as super small compared to other hotels in a similar price range, and the view from their small window was of a brick wall, which they found surprising for the price point compared to competitors like CitizenM, Public, and Ace. This guest felt the hotel lacked some basic amenities expected at this price level, such as conditioner, a shower door, and a kettle in the room, and would only consider staying again if it were discounted or cheaper.

Conversely, another guest who stayed for 8 nights reported that everything was great. They found the hotel clean and quiet, with a great location and subway stations just 5 minutes away. They also appreciated the complimentary coffee and pastry offered in the morning and considered it a great value for money overall, with no hidden fees. This guest highly recommended the hotel with a 10/10 rating.

We stayed for 8 nights and everything was great. Clean and quiet, great location with subway stations 5 min away. There is a complimentary coffee with a pastry in the morning which was also great. A great value for money in general without any hidden fees at the end. 10/10 recommended

Loved our multi-night stay here! Yes the room was so tiny, but efficient. just could not get over the daily coffee and pastry that are included. My husband and I each got a delish croissant and iced latte every morning. Clean, nice atmosphere, good location 馃専 rooftop bar access is a nice bonus

Our first trip to New York City was truly unforgettable, thanks in part to Untitled. This hotel is located in the vibrant Lower East Side, it offers the perfect mix of tranquility and convenience; just steps away from the subway but tucked into a peaceful street. The walk to the hotel through a graffiti-adorned alley is an experience in itself, setting the tone for the artistic and edgy vibe that awaits inside. The hotel鈥檚 design perfectly reflects the creative energy of the neighborhood, combining modern comfort with a unique urban aesthetic. Our room was a Studio Mini located at 2nd floor: maybe a bit small, but it has everything you need! It's cozy, quiet and the bed was really really comfortable. Breakfast was another highlight: delicious and a perfect way to start each day. We loved the atmosphere of the breakfast room, like being in a homey living room, complete with tables with sofas or chairs, a piano right in the center, pieces of art everywhere and even a tattoo studio at the back. We met several members of the staff and everyone was really lovely. So, this place is a true gem. Whether you're visiting NYC for the first time or you are a seasoned traveler, Untitled is the perfect base for exploring Manhattan and beyond. We couldn鈥檛 be happier with our stay, and we鈥檒l undoubtedly choose this hotel again for future trips!

This hotel was the best discovery I could have made. What an amazing place to stay. Great rooms, awesome vibes, top-notch rooftop bar, and just such a cool place to stay. I can鈥檛 stress enough how amazing the location is, right between Lower East, East Village, Greenwich, SoHo and Chinatown. Everything you could possibly want to do is within 20 min walk, close to subway stations. The whole experience was so good we changed our second hotel to come back and stay here longer. 10/10!!
