Me and my partner we had a fantastic Memorial weekend trip. It was my partner’s birthday and the Front Office manager made sure she treated him for his birthday. Shoutout to Julie, she was the nicest and sweetest person to us. We got free black car rides for a day as a present to my partner. We got also mimosas and free beers. Monica, on the other hand, took care of us in the restaurant. Her suggestions were spot on for my partner’s birthday dinner, and she also treated us with free desserts. We felt very welcomed and really treated like VIPs! I planned every single detail of this trip as a present for my partner and it felt so good seeing how they made us feel so special. Our room was also spotless and room service was excellent. Last, but not least, the view from the rooftop bar was amazing! We would definitely come back to this hotel if we come back to DC. Thank you Julie and Monica for turning my partner’s birthday into such unforgettable experience.

May 26, 2025 · Raidel BlancoOverall, I had a pleasant stay at The Ven. The staff were generally friendly and helpful — special thanks to Abbas and the tall Ethiopian gentleman (unfortunately I forgot his name) for their warm service. However, I did encounter a slight issue with one of the receptionists who was a bit unaccommodating when I inquired about a kettle. The location is excellent, with convenient access to nearby restaurants, CVS Pharmacy, and Safeway — very helpful for travelers. The hotel also features a rooftop bar and swimming pool, though I didn’t get the chance to try them. The gym is small but functional, located on the lower level. A few suggestions for improvement: having an electric kettle in the room would be a big plus, especially for international travelers. A self-service laundry machine would also make a big difference for guests on extended stays. Would still recommend for the comfort and location!
Jun 16, 2025 · Badrulhafiz SulaimanStayed at The Ven at Embassy Row during a business trip in the second week of April 2025, and overall had a great experience! The lobby is welcoming and stylish, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff is exceptionally courteous - always ready to help with a smile. The hotel has a lively and positive atmosphere that makes for a pleasant stay. Our team of 30+ also held meetings at the venue. While the meeting space (set up in a basement-level art gallery) had an interesting aesthetic, it wasn’t the most functional for a corporate setting. The food catered by the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag - breakfast options were underwhelming, especially the wraps and sandwiches, which lacked flavor despite having decent ingredients. However, the lunch buffets - the Japanese and Mexican - were delicious and well-received by the whole group. All in all, a stylish hotel in a great location with attentive staff and good vibes. With a bit of attention to the breakfast menu and meeting space functionality, it could be close to perfect!
Apr 15, 2025 · Ashish BhojaneI had an outstanding experience during my recent stay at The Ven at Embassy Row. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The hotel itself is stylish and comfortable, with a great location that makes it easy to explore the city. What truly set this visit apart, though, was the exceptional hospitality of the front desk manager, Julie. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home—her kindness, attention to detail, and personalized recommendations made all the difference. It’s rare to encounter someone so dedicated to creating a positive guest experience, and Julie did just that. I highly recommend The Ven for anyone visiting the area. I’ll definitely be back—and I hope Julie will be there to greet me again!
