U Hotel Fifth Avenue

I loved everything about this hotel. When we first arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and the receptionist ended up upgrading our room for us. He also recommended restaurants around to check out. The rooms are small but doable. Room service is impeccable. It’s in a perfect location. We walked pretty much everywhere. The location is also safe. I would recommend this place a thousand times and would definitely stay here again

This was a surprise trip for valentines. I did not know what to expect when booking this hotel apart from the great location. Everything was walking distance. I had heard that the rooms were small and yes indeed they were, Carlos was great and showed us a few rooms where we picked the best one that suited us, himself and John assisted us in resolving the issue we had when booked via 3rd party where they had advertised incorrectly. House keeping lady was great, rooms were cleaned daily to a good standard and extra towels left. Ty went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great, he was always smiling, bubbly and happy to help when he greeted us no matter what time it was. The only issue we had was that the floor would get wet when showering but putting a few towels down sorted that. We would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional hospitality from all the hotel staff! Ty, John, Carlos and Chris! We had a pleasure staying at this hotel! Always welcomed with a smile and stories. Regarding the location, we couldn't ask for a better place to go and get out of the house than this. It's a great location for everything you're looking for (by foot or by bus and train). The hospitality was exceptional, constantly maintained by the hotel staff who are lovely and human! We enjoyed every moment of our stay. It's not every day you meet people like them, asking how you are no matter what time, smiling all the time! Interested and willing to help when needed! We will definitely be back and we miss everyone already!

Stayed the wknd of March 1st-3rd and can't wait to come back. Reasonable rates with a wonderful and helpful staff. Very polite and attentive. Great location close to many awesome restaurants. A Starbucks directly next door for morning coffee with access from lobby. Rooms and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Very quiet during the hustle of daily traffic and noise. A great choice for midtown Manhattan!
