Fairfield Inn & Suites New York Manhattan/Fifth Avenue

A fantastic experience! The receptionists were incredibly welcoming and made check-in a breeze. They went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, offering great local recommendations and always being available to assist. As I had issues either my national bank limits, the team was super helpful and demonstrated a lot of understanding. Their warmth and professionalism truly made my stay memorable. I’ll definitely be returning! The rooms were pretty space and neat, the cleaning service was great at all times. Breakfasts were diverse and accommodating individual needs (gluten free, lactose free products available).

Not impressed with this hotel at all. Room was bogus. I can’t blame Marriott for this calamity because it is an independent franchise with the Marriott name. Last minute reservation for work. You know what, it was $115, so I was not expecting anything much from this place to begin with. For the people berating this place, maybe you have stayed at the Marquis or JW down the street. When you walk in, it says right at the desk the name of the company that manages the property. It’s obvious not Marriott itself. 😂

As a lifetime platinum Marriott Bonvoy member, I hate to say negative things about one of their properties, but this room was the worst I have ever experienced. The "suite" had its own emergency exit, which is nice in case of emergency I suppose...but the illuminated RED EXIT sign was like sleeping under a lighthouse. I had issues with the TV, housekeeping, the desk chair and others. Desk staff really did nothing to solve the issues. To be fair, The breakfast each morning was very good. The staff was very conscientious in keeping the breakfast area clean and well stocked

Disappointed in the hotel especially being a lifetime Marriott rewards member. If your just looking for a clean bed to sleep for the night then this your spot, but I paid $500 for this hotel a week before NYE and then the price dropped $150 and they wouldn’t budge on helping me out at all. We called prior to our stay asking if there’s a cost for holding our bags prior to check in and the staff member we spoke with was extremely rude. The room was quite disappointing as the furniture closet door was ripped off the hinges, the skirt of the bed was filthy, all the furniture was beat and morning of check out we went to shower and the shower head was no better then a leaking garden hose. Not what you would expect from a 1 night stay for $500 in a Marriot hotel. At best, this place is similar to your average local motel.

Despite the location of this hotel being extremely convenient, the room was dirty upon my arrival. When housekeeping came to clean my room (looked like they only made the bed, no actual cleaning took place as evidenced by the dust and hair), they left my hotel door open all day with my belongings inside. Would not recommend this hotel.
