However, the hotel itself feels dated. While the general lobby area was clean, it showed signs of wear, with aging furniture and equipment. Despite these challenges, it was clear that the staff worked hard to maintain a welcoming atmosphere. There were some maintenance issues during the stay. The lighting over the bar and microwave/fridge area was broken, and in our first room, both the light and telephone didn’t work, making the space quite dark. We were moved to a second room on a higher floor with better lighting. The shower leaked onto the floor due to an improperly sealed shower insert, though this was unrelated to the existing ceiling stain. While the room was generally well-kept, the carpet needed cleaning and had a slight odor. Additionally, the rooms were much smaller than expected—very compact compared to typical accommodations. On a positive note, the public restrooms and lobby areas were very clean. We did not have a chance to try the food service.

The customer service from all the staff (bellman, housekeeping and front desk) were all amazing. And the location is just outside of the tourist area but walkable within a 6-10 minute walk.

Only reason I am giving 4 star for room is because room has translucent bathroom door and if kids are with you it is not family friendly. I had to cover door with paper to make it usable when kids are in room. Other than that everything was good.
