Hotel Hendricks

I stayed at this hotel in 2021, and when I did it was a time during covid but they had continental breakfast and unfortunately, it is now a restaurant in which you have to pay for. But aside from that, I love this hotel! I came back a second time and my stay was amazing, and was not bothered by any other guests. I loved to see that Eugene is still there! He is so friendly even years later, and I appreciate his hospitality. He is the best at what he does!

Sadly, this was an awful experience from start to finish. On our second night, we woke up to find our entire hotel room flooded—not just a leak, but water covering the floor and soaking our clothes, luggage, and personal items. What made it even worse? The hotel staff were completely dismissive, showing zero urgency or concern for the fact that our belongings—including clothing, books, and electronics—were damaged. They offered no compensation, no laundry services, and acted as if this was just an everyday occurrence. We were moved to another room, only to find it was flooded too. At this point, we had no choice but to check out early, with ruined clothes, damp luggage, and an overall terrible experience. For a 4-star hotel, this level of negligence and lack of basic hospitality is unacceptable. Had I not booked through Hotels.com, I doubt we would have even received a refund, meaning we’d be double out of pocket—having to pay for ruined belongings, laundry fees, and another hotel stay. New York is an amazing city, but this hotel completely tarnished our trip. Save yourself the stress and book elsewhere.

During a quick business trip to Manhattan, I had the pleasure of staying at The Hendricks Hotel for one night. Although the rooms and public spaces are on the smaller side, which is fairly typical for New York City hotels, the overall ambiance and style more than make up for the lack of space. The Hendricks Hotel exudes an upscale flair with its dark lighting and sophisticated decor, creating an inviting atmosphere that feels both modern and chic. The compact nature of the rooms is well-compensated by the smart layout and elegant design touches, making the most of the available space without compromising on style. A standout feature of The Hendricks Hotel is its beautiful rooftop bar, which offers stunning views of the city skyline. It’s a perfect spot to unwind after a day of meetings or to start your evening with a cocktail in hand, surrounded by the bustling energy of Manhattan. Overall, The Hendricks Hotel provides a uniquely stylish urban retreat. Despite the cramped conditions, the hotel’s charm and the exceptional rooftop experience make it a worthwhile choice for anyone looking for a touch of luxury and a great location in the heart of Manhattan.

Great hotel right in downtown Manhattan , 2 blocks away from Bryant Park , and a fee blocks from Macy's and Times Square. Staff are extremely courteous and very helpful. Everything is within walking distance. The location is top-notch. Also, check out their rooftop bar. Great views of the Empire State Building. 🗽

We absolutely loved this hotel! Super stylish in an excellent central location. Finishes were top notch. The front desk experience didn’t match the rest of the hotel - the employee was dressed very casually and this also matched his level of service. We scored a great deal and would stay again at a good rate.
